Vasyl Lomachenko vs Joel Casamayor

@ 130 or 135. Two Olympic gold medalists and technical southpaws. Casamayor was crafty and also not afraid to scrap but how well does he handle the physical talents of a guy like Loma?

 

It's hard for me to handicap because Loma's resume was so thin. Casamayor fought all the best fighters of his generation other than Floyd. All we can go on is how Loma handled Rigo, but a faded, tiny Rigo isnt the same thing as a prime Casa.

Objectively, I do think Loma is the favorite here, but not a substantial one.

 

Good fight. Agree that Loma should win but Casamayor is going to make him sweat for it.

For me, the best version of Casamayor was the one that took apart Jon Kwon Baek.

That version of Casa vs the Loma that beat up Walters is a great match-up. Again, I think Loma is the favorite, he's more dynamic, but peak Casa could very well score the upset.

 

Agreed. A host of guys you could favor over him but not a lot that would do it with ease.
