These goals at the very end of halves and games have been a fucking problem.

 

We still helped Arsenal (I don't really give a shit) but we needed three points to push for a European spot.

 

My brother was late to the party but he picked West Ham as his club around March of '24. He got to see them playing in Europe. He got way into the Premier League that following season even though West Ham had a shit season. It was nice to have someone to talk to about English football. We had a trip to England planned that unfortunately had to be scrapped.

He passed away a week before this season started. So unless they're playing Everton, I'll always pull for West Ham. They're in a tough spot now with Spurs getting their only two wins of 2026. But we'll see what happens..

If the Prem won't punish Man City for 115 breaches after what they did to Forest and Everton for one & two breaches while both were battling relegation, then they deserve City as champions for the next ten years.

And yes, a 3-3 draw against City is not a bad result UNLESS you were leading 3-1 at the end of the match. The away section was emptying out & came back to their seats after the second goal. Then the ref got the orders to keep off that whistle until City scores. That was predictable.

That's the fourth game in a row Everton gave up a goal in injury time. It's cost us 8 points. What a strange talent for a team to possess. To reliably give up a winning or tying goal around the 95th minute.
