Over Their Last 3-4 Fights, REED has Enjoyed Watching Bam MORE Than Inoue...Nonetheless, REED Can't Fathom Bam Rodriguez Moving UP 2 Weight Classes and Actually BEATING Naoya Inoue...

In Fact, REED Thinks Bam is Cashing Out if the Fight Happens Anytime BEFORE Late 2027, 2028...Naoya Inoue is LITERALLY "the Lower Weight Lottery" and You Can't Blame Bam @ All for Cashing In His Ticket...He AIN'T Winning Though; Inoue AIN'T Losing to a Smaller Dude...

Fight was only underwhelming because most of us expected an all out slugfest right out the gate but it was still a solid tactical fight that turned into a scrap in the end. It was much better on second viewing due to the fight being fought at a high level. Lots to appreciate in the beginning that was devoid of any clinches or spoiler tactics. And it only just got better as the rounds went on with some good action and a little momentum shift.

Id say give it a rewatch.

Inoue doesn’t have much time left and only has one more fight at 122 before making his move to 126 so it made sense for Bam to take this opportunity right away before losing that chance of a high payout. Bam is very technically gifted but against Inoue he will be the smaller fighter and the thing that separates Inoue from the rest is how smart and adaptable he is. He’s fought and beaten every southpaw with relative ease. Other than the knockdown in the first round by Nery and a few rounds against Nakatani he’s practically dominated every southpaws put in front of him. Bam is an awesome fighter but Inoue is just on another level even at 33. His power isn’t the only thing that makes him great, it’s his ring IQ, timing, technical efficiency, and adaptability. Inoue will eventually figure out his opponents style and break them down. That’s why I think Inoue should have no problem with Bam once they fight.

Saying that though 126 WILL be a tough challenge for Inoue once he moves up.
