It's a bit pitiful, you lose in those circumstances in a Scottish premiership, you expect nothing more/less. If they wanted to avoid it, they shouldnt have shit the bed after leading the table for so long. Piss off, drown your sorrows, strengthen for next season because if Celtic head office view this as evidence that they're on the right track, the window of opportunity might extend to next season.

Second season in a row Chelsea were in a title race at Christmas and were a laughing stock by April.

I have heard some blaming their under 24 signing policy for the downfall. Lack of veteran players leaves them with no backbone.

Before this batch of 7 am (3 pm UK) started, aside from Everton, I said I needed Crystal Palace, Leeds & Wolves to all win.

Palace were up the whole match but now tied. Wolves were up first half but now tied. Leeds are still 0-0 with Brighton.

But now none of it matters because Everton have blown another lead and at home against a team below us. Were leading 1-0 now down 3-1. We don't fucking deserve Europe..

Last time Everton were in position to make a run for Europe, the team wilted down the stretch too. We even lost a home match to fucking Sheffield U who had been relegated a month before that. Then Carlo Assholotti fucked off.

Teams with weaker squads rarely finish strongly. Very few teams flourish down the stretch.

Probably our best player tbf: him & Tierney are the only guys in the squad who could hold down a place at a mid table money league side at this stage

I missed this. Despite the wall to wall coverage and parliamentary debates/inquests which must've followed:Jest: I hope the English game recovers from the Global shame this caused

Congrats to Arsenal. People will criticise the method, but I think this season was all about just getting over the line for them after the near-misses in recent years. Now the pressure is off they should start to come into their own. Happy for Eze, nice kid and good to see a former R make a difference.

Just thinking about that Hearts vs Celtic thing.... after Hagler-Hearns, Steward specifically told Hearns not to mention the pre-fight leg massage because to do so would detract from Haglers win and make Hearns look petty.

Hearts really should have just accepted that on the day and over the season they'd shit the bed just once too often..

.... Instead now they'll tell everyone they were robbed and assaulted..

Congrats indeed to Arsenal. I suspect they take the CL as well.

And lol @ Spurs giving West Ham one more chance on Sunday. It'd be fuckin hilarious if they blow it. But all the stars need to align for WH this weekend.

My neighbour is a Chelsea fan and he says it's all data driven bullshit at the club.

Age, kilometres run per game, expected value in 3 years, all this shit.

Identical pitch invasions at 5 other English grounds within a week of Celtic's, so far. Also enjoyed the resurfacdd footage of the pitch invasion at Kilmarnock from a couple seasons back with hun bastard mcinnis hugging fans and bbc commentators gushing over the ecstatic scenes

Fucking hearts moaning about refereeing conspiracy as they concede their very first penalty of a 38 game season (celtic 7 against). Every official on Saturday a known rangers fan

Another pint of their fucking tears plz:cheers:

Believe it or not it was Mark Goldberg, the goggle-eyed twat from the Man U reaction videos, who I first heard calling them out and predicting their downfall. Sometime around the beginning of their losing streak, a video of his came across my feed. He blamed the under 24 signing policy. A lot of what that old fool said came true.

As for Chelsea, after Todd came in and started throwing money around like crazy and bringing in an army of players, then shipping out an army of players, he finally realized this shit isn't working. For starters he doesn't know shit about the sport so that was never going to work. Now they're going 100% the other way. Sports science and AI are shaping the roster.

This Southampton getting expelled from the playoffs is the craziest shit ever. After seeing their fans bringing binoculars to the last game and even a player mocking a Boro player with the fake binoculars, it's pretty fucking funny now. They didn't know it at the time, but they were just adding to the hilarity of their downfall.

Unai Emery has now won the Europa League with Sevilla, Villareal and Aston Villa. Weird.
