Not for me. I'm a Brazil fan. BUT... I also like Japan, so it wouldn't be soul crushing.

 

France sure is playing a lot of their games at MetLife. For the final, they'll have more familiarity with MetLife's pitch than any other nation.

 

They are definitely capable, they beat Brazil in a pre-tournament friendly. Seems to be a mental barrier with Japan when it comes to World Cup knockout stages though.

Japan were superb in that first half. Any sloppy pass by Brazil in midfield was punished, and I loved that when Japan gained possession they went forward with purpose.

The big question is if they can sustain this energy in the second half, or if it will be a repeat of Belgium 2018.
