    France to edge Spain.

England to best Argentina easily, or get robbed by Yoel Messiberg.

I'll have £100 on England to make the final.

France vs Spain is essentially the final, as X said. I lean towards France but Spain are very capable of raising their level of play and surprising them. But I’m still going with France on penalties. It’s gonna be a good one.

I still have England over VARgentina but I’m not making any bets. But with the vulnerabilities at the back, I reckon this time that Messi alone won’t be enough. I think England will put up some goals here.

    REED's Taking France...

It's Not Easy Being PERFECT For as Looooooooooong as Spain Will Need to Be, to Take This Match...AND...When All Else Fails, When Everything Else is Pretty Much Equal, That's When STARS Shine...

This is the 2nd World Cup REED's Watched Mbappe Compete In and He's Delivered Every Single Match...FULLY Expecting "KillymBappe" to Deliver This Afternoon as Well...

You Can't Help BUT to Be Impressed w/Spain's Defense - 1 Fucking Goal the ENTIRE WC is Laughably Good:Jest:...But it Also Suggests PANIC May Set in if/when France Scores a 2nd Time...REED Doesn't Think the PRESSURE of Being PERFECT Is Sustainable Against a Squad Like France...

REED's Taking England in the Other Semi...

For Sheer DRAMA, Argentina's Been the Team to Watch During the 2026 WC...But Messi Looked/Played as if He were DRAINED from the Drama, for Much of His Last Match...England has Definitely LOOKED Better Than Argentina, Game By Game...That's Because They ARE Better, in REED's Opinion...

Loving the 2026 World Cup, Shout Out to Erling Haaland and His Stuffed Raccoon...

@REEDsART will you only be watching the WC, or are you deciding to start following the club game as well? Club football, overall, is more exciting, though no doubt this WC has been drama-filled.

If you wanted to continue following Haaland, he plays for Manchester City all season long. All you need is a Peacock subscription to follow the Premier League. A Paramount+ subscription would you give you the most futbol though.

Or REED could start following Fulham as they have Harrison Reed in their squad. :D

I'm not native to the game so I dont have a single club that I absolutely die for -- I think that's something you gotta pick up in your youth.

I'm a joint Barca/LFC supporter. Which generally means, fuck Madrid and fuck United.

Nah, I feel like REED, as a diehard Cowboys fan, might gravitate the most to United if he were to follow.

I also follow MLS. You just need a Apple TV+ subscription for that. Fun league. High scoring, zero defense.

I get why having looked up similarities between Dallas and Man Utd. Both global brands, huge fanbases, historical success, but both have struggled to win their respected leagues in recent decades.

I think Andoni Iraola could be an excellent appointment for Liverpool. He did a brilliant job at Bournemouth. His style of play will be a hit with Liverpool fans.

Outside of Europe, I also support Flamengo. Luckily the Fanatiz app provides access to all Brasileirao games.

I think Spain could frustrate France for long spells, even take the lead. But France's pressure results in an equaliser and possibly late winner in 90 minutes or extra-time.

I'm taking Spain, possession will be key, Rabiot and Tschouameni will be chasing shadows... if France are to win they will have to be very clinical. Hoping I'm wrong.

Spain will try to suffocate with possession and off ball movement to get France out of position. France have the better individual players who can make something happen and that could be the difference between the two.

    About to start.

Javier Bardem in attendance. He should have done the coin toss and asked France to call it.

Kind of a cheap penalty. French didn't even see Lamal running in.
