If tszyu were a smarter or better fighter he woulda pressed the body attack. Those were punches that had the most impact for him

Does Spence make the HOF in 5 years? Objectively, though I like him, I dont think he did enough. Wins over Brook, Mikey Garcia, Danny Garcia, Porter, and Ugas are the makings of a good career, but not a HOF career.

But he was a star American fighter. Meaning, he'll almost certainly be inducted.

 

Ennis likely beats any version of Spence, especially if we're talking 154. I dont think Spence would have ever been effective at 154.

 

Yea he'll get in. Could be quickly depending on the other candidates. It aint like there's many worth guys retiring in 2026

 

I agree bout ennis. Don't agree about 154. Spence stuck around 147 way too long if he were looking to maximize his physical prime rather than monetize. If he went to 154 six or seven years ago and lured crawford up there its a different fight. Way different if he didn't nearly kill himself in a car

He looked pretty frail at this point. Couldn't even cut to 157. That's a young man's advantage, the whole scale felon shit

 

I dont buy "way different." Crawford is just a much, much better fighter. Spence on the very best night of his life had to come from behind against Brook. I dont see what Spence ever offers Crawford. The talent/skill gap is too big.

spence was dropped 4 or 5 times, won no zero rounds and was stopped in a career ending fight as it turns out?

154 spence vs Crawford pre accident is competitive and Id pick crawford by decision. maybe 8 to 4 type win
