Accomplishment wise, its marciano and its not even close. H2H, controversial opinion, but i think morrison was the best. Thinking about it, its incredible how poor this lot is.....

No. I think Marciano was a very good swarmer, who would be a handfull for a fuckload of lhw and cw in history. But no way is his small ass bullying 6 feet 3, 220 pounds norton. Theres a reason why he never fought a good fighters that was more than 6 feet and 200 pounds (bar geriatric ass Louis). Norton chin handled without problems a lot of bombs from Quarry, Holmes and Ali, who were all solid to good punchers . Never was hurt in any of these 5 fights. And marciano was far from being as hard a puncher as foreman or shavers, so I have no doubt he would handle the occasional marciano bomb. To be frank, that whole "Norton has no chin" is complete Newby BS, and mostly based on him being blasted 2 times, by devastating punchers, at the very end of his career. Nobody was calling Norton chinny before the Shaver and Cooney fights. Even against Foreman, he took a ton of bombs and finished the fight on his feet, Seriously, What would Marciano path to victory be? Grinding down a guy much bigger and stronger than him who had a battering ram of a jab? 1 punch KO him? These are the only plausible scenarios and they are very very farfetched. Im less sure about patterson chin, and he wasnt nearly as big and strong as Norton. Thats why i call it a pick em
I know this much... If Marciano ever got Norton in the same position that LeDoux did, he'd have wiped him out. Apart from that, Marciano is basically overrated...he wasn't a bad fighter, and he wasn't overrated at the time, but he became overrated.
