Nothing too complex here. Itauma should be too much for this guy. Hopefully hrgovic hangs around long enough to land something big so we can see how itauma catches
Itauma looks great, but hes not proven enough to be a lock over Hrgovic, who is pretty shitty but legit
Itauma is going to be too accurate for Hrgovic. Every mistake Hrgovic will make, Itauma will punish him. People calling this the acid test for Itauma...I don't think it is.
I saw Itauma get hit with a left hook from Balogun. Offensively Itauma is very good, he really makes use of his southpaw stance and puts punches together. I haven't seen enough defensively to feel confident. This guy just has a style where he has never really been hit since nobody can handle his southpaw offence yet. At least Hrg comes with volume, even though he throws a lot of arm punches. Itauma will have to deal with a lot of punches coming at him, which he hasn't really had to deal with before. I'm not picking Hrg though, because he's just in there throwing arm punches all night.
ive changed my mind! felipe herbovic buckled itauma with a slap. he's gonna give that bloke a croatian handshake tomorrow
Good work, Mr Reed. Itauma definitely lost his head at the weigh-in. All that kid talk from Hrgovic did indeed get under his skin. I think Hrgovic is tailor-made for Itauma to a degree, but what could make this interesting is that Hrgovic is coming to win, he won't be afraid to throw and put his punches together and can take a shot. He'll try and assert his dominance from the start, so we might see Itauma put on the backfoot and be pressured, which is something we've not seen yet because he's basically had it all his own way up to now. Let's see too if his chin and heart are tested. Hrgovic isn't an elite talent but he's definitely someone you can't overlook. But Itauma is miles better and I'm confident he'll put on a show.
