All out war @ 126 between two relentless fighters. How does McGuigan handle the buzzsaw attack and granite chin of Chi?
by beating him up.....Chi damn near lost to the brave but average Michael Brodie. He did destroy Brodie in the rematch but came in suspiciously big and took advantage of the wear-and-tear that Brodie was still exhibiting from the first fight. There is a lot of blarney about McGuigan but he was a legit champ. Brodie had started at 122, also. If Chi needs two bites at the cherry then you've got to ask yourself if he has any business in there with McGuigan.
mcGuigan never engaged in the type of warfare chi did vs a peak hall of famer in Morales. on top of that koreans are simply tougher men than irish. and can handle their booze better!
