I don’t mind this fight. If there’s anyone that can make Canelo shine for his comeback it’s Mbilli. All aggression, no defense, and ripe for Canelo’s counters. Assuming Canelo isn’t too washed up of course. Just as long as the fight itself is entertaining.

 

Canelo is... kind of irrelevant in the sport now.

Really depends on how much he has left. I like Mbili, but he's elight. Prime canelo would have ko him easily, but old ass, disinterested 2026 canelo might well lose

 

Mbilli is high energy and a worthy opponent. But he might also be the perfect opponent for Canelo to end his KO dry-spell.

If it's not his last fight, wouldn't mind seeing him face Lester Martinez after that.

 

Mbilli is bang average. He's literally a FNF main event type fighter if we were back in 2001.

In other words, Canelo has to be REALLY cooked to lose to this guy.
