He won by stoppage. I missed the fight though - forgot it was on, and watched a program documenting the history of the wildlife documentary. Fascinating stuff. Not boxing related i know (though there was footage of a kangaroo boxing a man - first moving footage of an animal btw - though i couldn't tell if it was southpaw ro not).

He dominated the other guy from start to finish, but mentally and confidence wise, the warrior from stoke on trent simply wasn't up to the task. To be honest he never really nutted up and started throwing punches.

Khan did nothing wrong, but somehow I still wasn't that impressed.

Khan's handspeed is pretty good, but his power isn't.

Yeah his chin is dodgy though.

Anyone who gets floored by the feathered fisted Willie Limond has a bad chin.

He's not a bad fighter, but the thing that gets me other than a suspect chin and lack of power, is that he really doesn't look any better than in the amateurs. At all.

In other words....another hype-job promoted by Frank 'Pig-In-A-Suit' Warren.

    Astounding.

Khan sucks. All he is is speed and a marketing campaign.

I wouldn't say out and out sucks, but I pretty much agree with you.

It's a shame the talent pool in England is sparse enough that the Brits in general gladly lap up each of Warren's next hype jobs.
Khan is being touted as a superstar and "great" fighter already

Even Barry who I usually like is either on the Frunk Werren payroll or really stupid, he's actually called Khan a "great" fighter.

Khan is an amateur with fast hands, that's it. He doesn't even have a big punch.

My estimation is that he'll reach European level and that's it, I think the most legit belt he'll win is the Euro. What do you think?

He MIGHT get to world level or at least the outskirts of it on his speed alone, if hes matched intellegently, but basically yeah I totally agree with you. Ive felt that way since about his second fight when it became so painfully obvious that the kid has one mode of fighting : leap, flurry, back out. Generaly with his chin perilously unprotected and fairly high. He might not out and out SUCK as a fighter but thats purely down to his athleticism and talent. Technically he sucks. Cant fight for SHIT on the inside and shows zero craft or intellegence. Typical amature fighter, basically. Its no coicidence that pretty much ALL the craftiest and most skillful & technical fighters had little or no amature background - amature boxing just entrenches horrible, horrible habbits, IMO and rewards blazing speed above all else.
