Wicker Man - Nicholas Cage is such a terrible actor... I really hate that guy, but Wicker Man is quite possibly one of the greatest comedies I have ever seen.

His terrible acting really served this movie well. How many other movies do you know, where the main character not only punches random women in the face, but drop kicks Leelee Sobieski into a wall? Hell in one scene, he punches some random woman in the face, while he's in a bear costume

The acting in this movie was just atrocious, but I laughed the whole way through! I give it a 10/10, just make sure youre incredibly drunk before watching it. :bears:

edit: here, i'll save you guys the 2 hours http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6i2WRreARo

 I was purposely avoiding this movie on HBO. I'm going to have to watch it now.

LOL! at drop kicking Leelee Sobieski into a wall. I bet she never even changed the expression on her face. That's how powerful of an actress she is.

American Gangster- Good movie. The acting was strong all-around. Alittle long, but it wasn't to bad. The ending was poor though.

    It's absolutely brilliant, Illu.

DEFINITELY worth a purchase. Attenbrough is the daddy of wildlife documentaries.

It was nowhere NEAR as good as Carlito's Way, or Casino.

It was a huge disappointment in my mind, and I'm one of Denzel's biggest fans.

Honestly, Hoodlum was a better movie than American Gangster. And Lawrence Fishburne gave a better performance as Bumpy Johnson in Hoodlum than Denzel did as Lucas.

    I give American Gangster a 6.5/10.

Yeah, I've heard enough mediocre criticisms of this movie to figure that it must be meh...mediocre.

Hostel II- Okay movie, better than teh first one, but that may be because I was expecting less from it than the first one. I liked the scene where teh geeky girl gets killed.

    5.5/10

Grindhouse- I saw Deathproof first, and liked it better than Planet Terror, although both were quite good. Deathproof is kind of slow at times, but it has interesting dialogue and it really picks up at the end. Planet Terror is much more graphic and over the top.

    8.5/10

    I can't stand Dane Cook....

    *****SPOILERS!!!!!*****

....I was laughing my ass off when Kostner's Brooks character smokes his ass, lol.

    END OF SPOILERS!!!

...and yes, Kevin Costner can actually be a good actor at times, but he does act wooden sometimes, that's why he gets a bad rap...and Demi Moore is indeed still friggin' hot.

American Gangster was good, not great, but good.

Both Washington and Crowe are obviously very solid actors, and good to see them together since Virtuosity.

i thought American Gangster was very good. No country for old men is supposed to be real good.

i also liked Eastern Promises, Away from Her, and 3:10 to Yuma.
