With MMA groups losing money left and right, is there any possible way the Affliction card doesn't go down as one of the biggest financial disasters in MMA history? Fightwise, it's a great card, but with the money they're paying these fighters, and with Fedor not being any kind of PPV draw, I think Affliction is 1 and done. If they even get to 1. Has EliteXC really lost something like $27 Million Dollars? Or is that just some fancy accounting to make things look a lot worse then they are for tax purposes? Doesn't it seem like TUF is bringing in fighters based more on their penchant for standing and striking, which makes for more exciting TV, then for their actual MMA ability? How do fighters with 0-0 records even get on the show? Why does it look more and more like Butterbean will be Kimbo Slice's next sacrificial lamb? If EliteXC fails on CBS, does that forever ruin the chance of UFC or any other MMA group airing on network TV? If EliteXC does good numbers on CBS, can they do it again? Remember, the XFL did good numbers their first week. Doesn't it suck that since Nog and Mir have been named TUF Coaches, we won't see a UFC Heavyweight Title fight until at least the end of the year? Doesn't the fact that Frank Mir is getting a title shot after beating Anthony Hardonk and Brock Lesnar make a statement about how bad the heavyweight division in MMA is? Kinda reminds you of another sport, doesn't it? If Eddie Alvarez wins the Dream Lightweight Grand Prix, does that make him the number 1 Lightweight in the world? Is there any channel that kicks more ass then HDNet? If you're an MMA fan and you don't have HDNet, why the fuck not? Does anyone else think out of all the fights coming up in the next month or so, the most exciting one could end up being Jens Pulver\Uriah Faber? Shouldn't the winner of Marcus Davis\Mike Swick be guaranteed the winner of GSP\John Fitch? If Wandy loses to Keith Jardine....is it time to hang them up?
