The next two championship boxing cards for the cable networks will be double-headers June 7th and 21st.

Should be a couple good nights of boxing.

I know some people hate it when they both have shows on the same, but I feel the exact opposite.

I think it's great when there's that much boxing not on pay per view.

    Here's the scheduled line-ups:

    June 7th

    HBO:
    Kelly Pavlik-Gary Lockett
Daniel Ponce De Leon-Juan Manuel Lopez

    Showtime:
    Vernon Forrest-Sergio Mora
    Carlos Quintana-Paul Williams II

    June 21st

    HBO:
    Andre Berto-Miguel Angel Rodriguez
    Chris Arreola-Chazz Witherspoon

    Showtime:
    Arthur Abraham-Edison Miranda II
    Giovanni Lorenzo-Raul Marquez

Looks like Showtime wins both matchups.

I'd personally rather watch Ponce-Juanma than Quintana-Williams again and fucking Sergio Mora. Mind,I do have a soft spot for Ponce- he's as one-dimensional as they come but he can narf crack for a little dude.

The second showtime card is miles better than the HBO one, though. As much as I detest Edison Miranda, that rematch with Abraham should be a barnstormer, and credit should go (for a change) to Arthur for taking a rematch with a guy who arguably beat him first time out. I for one didn't think he'd do so in a trillion years...:dunno:

Ponce De Leon-Lopez could turn out to be good, but overall I agree Showtime appears to have the better match-ups.

It's also likely they both have cards on August 2nd with Showtime airing Dmitri Kirilov-Vic Darchinyan and HBO possibly showing Joshua Clottey-Zab Judah.
