Fighting Cotto is a win/win for Margarito and a lose/lose for Cotto. The styles will make Margarito look good win or lose unless he gets blown out which I doubt will happen.

I don't know, for some reason that's pretty much all I've been doing the past two months. I closed out last year with my first cover story and some other really good features. So I figure I'll just bide my time and see if other good stories come my way. The Tarver fight is a good start.

Nah - TV report. I've been down for Tarver's last couple fights though - didn't have to travel too far, however. Wouldn't mind going back to Florida; was in Orlando a month and a half ago. Maybe Carlos will spring the airfare? Where ya at, Cupey?

The "I NEVER was IMPRESSED by Margarita" Bandwagon...

(WHEN he's EXPOSED Again, these Guys "Told YOU So"...:stir: )

"Oh and REED was right earlier when he referred to me. He has never been impressed with Margarito. Even before Margarito became overhyped REED didn't think much of him. IMO, Margarito is a solid, entertaining fighter. However it got ridiculous how he was getting so much hype because he wasn't in Floyd's plans."

Only a TRUE Floyd sack rider could make a thread like this. The majority of the boxing world would have much rather seen Floyd fight Margarito than Baldomir. I don't care about belts, and justify it however you want.

It would be a tougher fight, and far more people wanted to see it.

Carry on with your bandwagon, it changes nothing.

So says the poster who demands Kessler fight Edison Miranda to "prove he's the best Supermiddleweight",.. .. ...oh dear,....Reed please?

:nono: Members of this bandwagon are either,..

    2) Puerto Rican Cotto fans
    3) Anti-Mexican Pacman fans

Fraud said himself that he wasn't fighting for any linear title, there's a lovely video on youtube that owns his apologists badly when it comes to this.

I've always thought Margarito was overrated. He doesnt seem as overrated now, because of the loss to Williams.

Before then you got the impression that he was some type of of killer. He's got a high workrate abd decent shin going for him. I am picking him to beat Cintron however.

I just don't think he was this juggernaut that a lot of people prompted him up to be.

But the fact of the matter is that even blind biased fellow posters as you call them, know more boxing than you :tease:

You, the eccentric poster who's had many man-crushes with fighters who never ammount to anything. Get out of here with your ignorance.

No, I wasn't. It's this kind of flaming and hyperbole that reduces good discussions to tangential, broken-up, incoherent nonsense. :nono:

And the rest of that sentence (the non-bolded part) makes no sense, either. :nono: :tease:

I'll concede that Margarito would gain my respect IF he beats Cotto.

So if he beats a top 5 (or so) p4p fighter, he'd gain your respect?

    Very gracious of you.

You'd be nervous as hell if Margarito ever got your boy Floyd Jr in the ring, Reed. I can't say I was overly impressed with Floyd's performances against a shot old Oscar and little 5'5 blown up Hatton.

The fight was made at welterweight.

How impressed have you been with Hatton at 147 Over the Course of his Career?

I guess that doesn't make Mayweather-Hatton all that important of a fight in your eyes, then.
