'Weight-divisions' should be categorised by measurements instead.

Using technology that calculates the entire area of the bodies exterior, and then seperated into divisions depending on where the fighters totals range. That'll take away all the health issues with making weight, it'll also stop bludgeoning bully-boys like Bernard Hopkins having unfare size advantages come fight time, all because his body has excellent recouperating abilities to handle drainage,..... this component should be irrelevant to boxing.

Same day weigh-ins for the time being would probably snag a few, but not all puffer-fish bullies that exist in our weight classes, there are atleast a good 3 or 4 at welterweight alone :nono:.

Theres none in the sport who cheats more in using his size that your hero Phony. Margarita is clearly a natural jnr middle or maybe even middleweight who shrinks down to 147 and bullies smaller guys. If he moved up and weight and no longer had a huge strength edge over his opponents, his skilless ass would be fucked!

Margarito has always struck me as a guy who stays within a reasonable distance from his weight class between fights

Unfortunately,.. yes,..Margarito is one of those I have in mind who does seem to have an unfare advantage over most welterweights,.. but..shockingly,.. he isnt even the 3rd biggest welterweight, that's why measurements should define 'weight divisions' instead,..more than likely,.. Antonio would have to move up with this system enforced, he and Mark Suarez, Cintron and Williams.

Interesting, considering Santos was at 170 when he stepped into the ring against him.

That would be an interesting matchup, considering that Pavlik has never faced a world class southpaw like Dawson. I'd like to see Dawson-Pavlik also, and one day we probably will.

You could hardly expect him to, poor little guy was significantly outweighed in that fight.

And both the stoppage and the scorecards are debatable, though you can't even bring yourself to admit that.

I wonder if Dawson could still make middleweight. I know he's said he could make 168.

 U CAN'T Bring YOURSELF to "Admit" that U're a Margarita APOLOGIST...But Hey, that's YOUR Prerogative, Dog...

    Margarita's had a DECISIVE Size Advantage N ALL but about 5 Fights...2 w/Cintron, 2 w/Santos & 1 w/Paul Williams...& He's 2-2-1 N those Bouts...

    Can YOU Say "AVERAGE"???...

    Define apologist.

How many fights did Alexis Arguello have a height advantage? Or Tommy Hearns?

What's the difference if the fighter can legitimately make the weight?

U have an ENDLESS Array of Built-In DEFENSES for Margarita...Almost to the Point of APOLOGIZING for him...If U're NOT an Outright "Apologist" U're just SOUTH of it...

& AGAIN, that's YOUR Prerogative, Just DON'T Pretend to B OBJECTIVE about the Guy...

Other than Kauki, it's Pretty Much a GIVEN that U'll Show Up on the Scene "Defending" Margarita's Honor @ the HINT of a Slight...He "Didn't" Lose to Santos According to U...Floyd "Ducked" him According to U...He Really IS an "Elite Guy" According to U...

Arguello & Hearns were SKINNY, TALL Guys...Margarita's a Tall, THICKER Bodied Guy, by Comparison...Tommy Hearns was TALLER than Margarita @ Welter, but he Certainly WASN'T Bigger:nono:...

Tommy had a Middleweight Torso on LIGHTWEIGHT Legs...Margarita's MUCH More PROPORTIONATE than Hearns was...

First of all, you act like I'm the only one who thought he beat Santos. It was hardly a clear victory, yet you continuously try to obscure what actually happened in either Santos fight proclaiming Margarito hasn't beaten him in two tries.

Yeah, and Roy Jones couldn't even last he distance the first time he fought Griffin.

When have I ever said Mayweather ducked him?

What do you define as elite?

I've pointed out he's been in the top 5 or 10 of the division for a number of years and has faced a number of contenders...and has made offers to many elite fighters, or bordeline elite...both despite arguments to the contracy.

I've stated I think he's a better welterweight than Baldomir or Hatton, but I've never claimed he was a p4p fighter, or that he on the level of Mayweather or that I even put him on the level of Cotto right now.

He has to beat Cotto to get there, and I haven't even said I think he will do that.

I have said I expect him to be a tough fight for Cotto and that he should be able to test his stamina and that I want to see how Cotto fights in the second half of the fight against him.

I think also fighters with too much power, speed, reach or chin should be banned. Maybe that way the "best" boxers would win and those ridiculous p4p lists would actually be truthful

I think boxing should only allow clones of the same fighter in each division. We'd be able to really know what we really want to know: who's the best trainer.

I also think that the heavyweight division needs to be completely demolished, that the 25 pound gap between light heavyweight and cruiserweight is way to big, and that there should be incremental weight divisions continued on up from cruiserweight to Butterbean-weight.

Cintron, Suarez and Margarito (except, if any of them resembled Margarito in any way he'd have never of fought them ofcourse),.. Fraud was undoubtably a brontosaurus at 130 Erratic, but regardless,.. calculate Fraud's entire body mass and he would never have been allowed to bully real 130 lber's, same with Corrales.

I think fighters should weigh-in the day before to "make weight", then again on fight night, and whoever has a weight advantage, his opponent should get free shots before the fight starts. Like right after the ref's instructions, the ref will announce "ok, take your 3 free shots" that being for weighing 3 pounds more on fight night. And the guy can just unload his hardest free shots on the stationary opponent who has to leave his hands at his side.

So HOWinthefuck Does Floyd @ 130 = Paul Williams @ 147???...Your Analogies R Getting WORSE, Kauki...

Fraud's thicker, wider, and has longer arms than Corrales,... Corrales was taller, but leaner,.. mush both motherfuckers up into a ball, and you've got the same sized egg :nono:.

He was also eating a sandwhich in his dressing room.

    Great pre-fight routine there.
