Stevie "Lil But Bad" Johnston vs. Edner Cherry

    Round 1

Clash of heads early.......Stevie backed into the corner....neither man landing clean.....Cherry lunges and misses a right.....lots of clinching....still neither landing clean, lots of missed punches......nice shot by Cherry.....clinch again to end the round

    Cherry 10-9

That was sad to watch. Hard to believe not too long ago Stevie went to war with Castillo twice.

Cherry is frustrating. He was always one of those guys I thought should be better then he actually is.

Sad to see guys who are a shell of what they used to be, but this was a very watchable WNF. At least each fight had some good action.

Norwood got what he deserved. For all those years of putting boxing fans to sleep, Johnnie Edwards returned the favor and put him to sleep. :bears:

    Johnston Got STRETCHED...

Jab-Right Hand, Down the Middle...Johnston Fell Backwards, like he was DEAD...U Could HEAR his Head Hit the Canvas...

FNF/WNF has had Some NICE KO's This Year, Even if the Fights Themselves HAVEN'T Been Meaningful...

glad i didnt see it then. i've met johnston a few times at fights (sat at ringside when he beat steve quinonez) and he's very cool guy.

it's funny how things turned out from the amateurs.

johnston fought (and beat most of these guys if not all) winky, vernon, mosley and millett in amateurs and was the only one who never went above 140. looks like he'll finish his career at lightweight.

That was a great WNF!! Both WNF & FNF have been pretty stacked so far this season!!:bears:

Some great KO's on both shows so far this year!!

As for Norwood, all I can say is their is nothing worse and worthless in this already hectic world than Road Rage driving pricks!!

the norwood KO was cool but other than that the fight stank

i was getting sick of watching that other dude (edwards?) come in and basically jump up on norwoods back
