It takes plenty of courage to get in the ring when you are unproven and have little to no experience, and risk being humiliated because of all the people who hate you and want to see this happen. He could have disappeared, but still plans on trying again with a possibilty of even a worse outcome, if that isn't courage......I don't know what is :dunno: You can sign up on Youtube opcorn:

dsimon writes: I did see the fight. :::: Yeeaaaah, Gatti you make a good point also! I can't argue that either. One good shot to the chops! Charlie was spittin out his mouthpiece like it had arsenic on it. :: That may just be a response that Charlley has to overcome though. A mouthpiece effects your breathing a bit.
He would have to check the attitude in at the front before I could train him, dsimon. I would work with him on two or three moves to catch this guy coming in and to gauge his shot distance, but again -- I don't know the kid, and he stands all wrong. I'd put him in with Juan Diaz for a round first and foremost and tell Juan not to hold back, and if he could survive that round that would give him confidence. He needs some boxing 101 training starting with the absolute basics on stance and balance before anything can be done with him to put it honestly. It looks like he is more of a fan than a fighter is my opinion.

let's get real, the guy doesn't want to be a fighter and he knows it, he's just a clown looking for attention and he got exactly that. No way someone who takes boxing seriously for more than 1 year, as untalented as he may be, would look this bad

Well, as far as I know, Zelenoff's promoter doesn't promote in Portland, so I doubt he'll be involved. If they wanted to do it, it would have to be a "sparring match." EDIT: Oh, and as far as how I see it playing out... Rd 1: Both fighters flail around for 3 minutes with the fat guy actually being able to land 2 punches on the top of Zelenoff's head, forcing Zelenoff to contemplate quitting. Instead, Zelenoff continues to flail...only from a safer distance. Rd. 2: Zelenoff Moves in closer and closer to his fatter opponent who is beginning to tire. Rd. 3: Fat guy tires out and gets knocked out from a grazing punch out of sheer exhaustion. He is stuck rolling from side to side like a turtle on it's shell unable to get up. FIGHT OVER! Zelenoff sits in the corner and makes eight one minute youtube videos about how he will take on the next mighty 1-13 challenger. Fat guy sits in his corner and makes one eight minute youtube video of him catching his breath. Party at Zelenoff's motel 6 penthouse(2 bed room). It's around the corner from Joe's Burger Shot and Kidsville playspace. One shot of russian vodka on the house. Music provided by....whoever has an Ipod, because Zelenoff spent his ipod money on the bus from LA.
