Injured the muscle about 10 weeks ago thought I was fine until I went back training last night :dunno: I just cant seem to shake it, anyone any advice ??
In my professional opinion, any strain that causes discomfort you should avoid. A strain can last up to six months, longer if you don't favor it....
I injured mine playing hockey and it got worse and worse, so I iced it, rested it, did stretches on a regular basis and train it twice a week by doing deep lunges with a relatively light weight. Now it's fine and back to normal. How did you injure it?
Yep, doing wind sprints yesterday, I aggravated my hip a little bit. It's ok, but I am a sore boy today. ::
Ice hockey, Contact, I took part in a B league game (non contact) about 2 weeks ago and it was fine, played for my team in a full contact game last week and Im back to square one.
Finally got to the bottom of my injury. The groin seemed to heal fine but was still sore after practice. My leg has been really acting up the last month so I got in contact with a different physio. It turns out my pelvis is not aligned correctly thus causing nerve damage all down the leg. So I'm out for another few months stabilizing that.
Thanks Buddy... It really is, I just got my fitness back after college then I was injured for 8 months, I gave my old physio over 500 euros, total waste of money. I just hope to be back in about 3 months - very difficult to train recovering from a injury.
