Forum Options: All members please vote!

Ok fightbeat members, I have been drilling Cupey now for a long time regarding forum options and now is the time to voice your opinion!!!! I'm going to create a poll in this thread where you can vote on forum options that you think will be cool! I will allow multiple choices so you can vote all the options you would like to be added!:bears: So let's get started.

1. Smilies- I think the more the better! This has been a demand for a long time!:hump:
2. Arcade- I think this will be a cool feature to add on. Like in other forums you will get a trophy for being the best in the game of your choice.:hump:
3. Store- I think Cupey should add a fightbeat store! For ever post a member will get credits to buy items from the store! This will be a cool feature that will give members a incentive for posting!:hump:

These are a few options I would love to be added on, I think it will spark some life back to the forum and keep things FUN! If any of you have any other ideas please post them here.

:: I agree we need more smilies! Some of the other boards have a (MORE) at the bottom of the smilies allowing members to choose from more. I think Cupey should :bears:add this on!

I think it was over at Secondsout that Joe Rein gave out some prizes (posters, if I'm not mistaken) for the person who people voted for.

That might be a better way of doling out store items.

Well if Cupey decides to add the fightbeat store I will be more than happy to give my ideas. In the boxingscene forum there are loads of options a member can buy. In the Cotto forum you can buy your national Flag and add the flag under the avatar. :hump:

 

Buy with what? Points?

I'm asking if you'll be the one putting up the real money for this idea.

I have another idea. The ability to add a message under the avatar! I don't think we can do this ourselves right now.:stir:

 

It's the same amount of traffic. What other sites do is put a long "alive" time so your name stays on the list even though you are not here. Just goes to show that FightBeat is a popular forum.

There is a vbulletin hack that allows you to bet fake money. That would make a prediction league very fun.

I agree, that's actually my favorite feature on B-Scene msg board - if not the onliest reason I post as often as I do over there (which isnt all that often, other than to fight with the anti-Joan Guzman sect ::)

 

nah, left 'em as is. If Joe intended for them to be on CD, he'd have sent them that way. Besides, my car is probably the last on earth to still boast a cassette deck.

OK. I've started look at the many options available for vbulletin. We'll start bumping up the power of the forums in the days and weeks to come.
