Round-by-Round Hatton-Lazcano, Malignaggi-Ndou

Hattons punches are partially blocked. Lazcanos punches land clean. Lazcano landed the harder shots Hatton landed more. Hatton probably just took the round.

 

My prediction...but I knew nothing about a chest infection.

 

Lazcano landing the cleaner punches IMO. Hatton may win for the sake of judges glossing over the rounds as they resemble a typical Hatton fight.

 

YUP...and i think he knows it..he try toooo hard in that round to stop Lazcano....but didn't come close...

5-1 Hatton

 

Brit commentary predicting Lazcano demise soon.....premature IMHO. Lazcano being warned Re. low blows or something. Hatton does seem jaded. All this holding and mauling, Lazcano is at is as much but a fresher Hatton might break out of it and rips shots to the midsection a bit sooner.

Hatton quieter in the 6th. Lazcano not under the cosh as much. Hatton left hook right cross....I like Rickys work this round but he is open to the left far too much.

Hatton shows some class with a flurry of hooks and uppercuts. hatton round.

 

Lazcano just can't get punches off because he is being held. Hattons style is so damn illegal. Where is Cortez or Nady when you need them.

 

Lots of concern in the hatton corner there, Ricky seems to be clearing his throat a lot, sounds clogged a bit. Lazcano gets off at the start of the 7th but Hatton shows some good work again with the left hooks.

Hatton won the first two minutes clearly of the 8th, but Juan hurt him with a minute to go. I also thought Juan was buzzed by a lefthook afterwards.

Lazcano seriously hurt Hatton. Juan has a REAL chance here these last few rounds!

 

LOL Both guys have the same assets and liabilities. The only difference is that Hatton has better handspeed and knows how to manage a fight (meaning, as the VS crew stated, he's as much a ref as the ref!)

Lazcano spoiling again..truthfully all he is looking for is 1 or 2 big shots to try and turn it around. Hatton shows a bit of class, slips the right and lands a double left hook, then gets clipped with a right hand....Lazcano doing a lot of holding......great action, Hatton with the Right, Lazcano with a right, Lazcano wilts a bit, looks jaded, still he throws punches, then he pulls Hatton down, Laz is warned....Lazcanos legs are gone, problem with Hattons boot...and this rest is saving Lazcano. Lots of blood in Juans right eye. Stumbling a bit is Lazcano.
