Yup. I have fighters that I don't like as well. I see no reason to jump around and make an ass of myself every time they fight. :notallthere:

When Hatton starts taking 45 minute naps in fights against guys with eight losses then we can say he's washed up. :kick:

A real fighter like Glen Johnson has 8 loses because he has been robbed a bunch of times. He isn't a cheating fighter either. He comes to fight for real.

As for Roy Jones hes one of the greatest fighters ever. Hatton ain't shit compared to Roy Jones.

Listen....why don't you just open a "I Hate Ricky Hatton Thread"???

Hatton did just fine in there tonight. Lazcano was desperately hanging on in there tonight.

As for royjonesfaghag#1..........the night any American fighter can legitimately complain about the behaviour of a Brit ref is the night i win the Lottery.

It's actually a shame you have to have people log onto this website and have to read this clown's garbage ranting. We already know the outcome. Hatton has been saved by EVERY REF in EVERY ROUND in EVERY FIGHT and he should have been DQd in round 1 and he looks like shit and never has been anything and if it wasn't for the refs and HBO he would have never won one single fight.

You'll see that against Malignaggi. He'll have a much easier time with paulie than many here expect.

Beating a 1 armed fighter with no power and his own hair in his eyes isn't something to be happy for.

How so. Hatton was nearly KO'd twice. Does he get to win rounds as long as he stays upright in Manchester?

Well that's the next fight for him so that's what I'm speculating on. I've heard people on this site saying that Paulie has the style to beat Hatton and expose weaknesses. It isn't happening. :nono:

What's the difference between them giving Hatton rounds that Juan won and you giving Juan rounds that Hatton won? Same shit.

    You were just more annoying.

Well, I'd comfortably pick the Hatton we've seen today against the Malignaggi we've seen today.

Nearly KO'd is what I would say Cotto was against Corley, dancing around the ring trying to get your vision and wherabouts back. Or the end of the Hatton-Mayweather where he was finished. Tonight he got stung pretty good. He came fwd and held on. Then finished the rounds on a decent note. You act like awarding him those rounds really changed the outcome of the fight. That's TWO rounds Lazcano may have won. Out of TWELVE. :notallthere:

Being as generous as you possibly can be, Juan won three rounds. I thought he probably only won two.

Lazcano won 2 or 3 rounds. There were no more than 3 rounds he won.

However, Hatton looked fucking shit. He is nearing shotness.

Where was his speed, timing, accuracy, energy etc?

He should have another big money fight or 2 then retire.

So you see nothing wrong with paid officials who are unbiased giving Juan no rounds when he nearly knocked Ricky out twice. I am biased as hell but im not a paid official who is supposed to be unbiased.

The ref was a joke too. Hatton was nearly out of it and he stopped the fight to warn Lazcano about Hatton tackling him then gave Hatton all the time he needed to recover.

Wow, so you finally admit what I've been saying is true?

Hatton is utterly diminished, even the retarded Versus commentators could see that.

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when that fucktard was going on and on about hatton not being hurt, just not in shape

Fuck me, what an idiot. That's right retard, no in shape, well trained fighter has ever been hurt or knocked out :notallthere:

I hope that Malignaggi can't fight so Hatton can fight De la Hoya or Pac Man instead so he can get KTFO again.

Hatton looked borderline shot to me. Seemed like he was punching in slow motion. He had poor balance and couldn't generate his normal power. His punch resistance has clearly declined, and he still foolishly telegraphs that leaping left hook that got him KO'd against Mayweather. I expect him to be KO'd again if he steps in the ring with a banger, particularly someone with a good left hook. Fighting Malignaggi might be in his best interest, but I have no interest in watching it.

I'd like to see hatton fight randall bailey. he'll be napping for much longer than a ten count if he runs into baileys hook.

 @pacquaio knocking hatton out. ignorance is bliss

What the hell are you talking about? Illuminatti was correct. Hatton was clearly hurt in round 10 and in big ass trouble until the ref gave him a timeout. :notallthere:Hatton won the fight very clearly but acting like he wasn;t hurt is ignorance he was in big trouble.

All you guys saying he's washed up...I respectfully disagree...I think he's just changed styles because he's fighting better fighters. First I saw him he fought Eamon Magee...Magee laid against the ropes the whole fight. Ricky pounded away and looked fantastic moving at angles and ripping off shots. I'm sure some of you can do that against a punching bag. After that he fought Hutchinson, old Phillips, Rios, old Tackie, Pederson, Wilches and Stewart - none of whom were really great fighters (and he got picked on on the messageboards for fighting those opponents.)

Then he fought Tszyu and started the mauling, grabbing style which Tszyu couldn't deal with. Had he not done that, one shot from Tszyu could have put him away (as I'm sure he was aware.) I only saw Tszyu have to fight like that one other time - the first Sharmba Mitchell fight, which he struggled with up until the stoppage.

After the Tszyu fight he pretty much stayed with that style. He tested it above 140 and looked bad, probably because instead of getting stronger he just lost less of the bad weight he gained in between fights. Worked against Castillo but Castillo was up from his best weight and shot. Didn't work against Mayweather because Mayweather is too good and Ricky's got no business above 140. And tonight it didn't work against Juan Lazcano...he beat Lazcano when he wasn't doing the mauling and got beat up when he did it.

My point is if you put him in there with Magee, Rios, Hutchison, couple of 40 year old war horses, Pederson, and Michael "No Joke" Stewart who couldn't win the contender show - all at 140 - he'd look like the "Ricky Hatton of old."

There's only one guy that looks fantastic against great fighters and that is Floyd Mayweather. Everyone else looks slower, weaker, worse defense, and/or less energetic when they step up to the great fighters. Hatton's just not as special as everyone thought he was.

As an aside, I'd love to see some punch stats comparing this fight to the Tszyu fight...I'd bet the punch count wasn't much different despite Lazcano being more effective than Tszyu.
