Pretty good movie. I've watched a lot of films with flashbacks so I'm used to it, but I think that was one of the main reasons that it got bad reviews. The car chase at the end was ridiculously long but overall the movie had pretty good acting. It's worth watching at least once.

We should make a thread dedicated to movie reviews. Can a mod get that done for me?

Darn, this thread is hard to find. I had to scroll about 1/4 way down the page. I wish I could just THINK about a thread and have it appear.

The first movie was shitty, I've got no interest in this one because of that.

I thought it was alright for a kids movie. Not memorable but decent. My daughter really liked it and she's trying to get me to go see this one. I'm probably going to try and pawn it off on my wife.

I thought this movie wasn't solely targetting kids and I guess that's why I was so disappointed. I expected something in the line of Lord of the rings but it wasn't the case at all. I imagine that I may have viewed it differently if I've expected a kid movie instead...

Since when does making fun of morons constitute whining?

slystaff is a pretty sharp guy.

I bet he has a small (ish) penis though. At least for a brother.

Yeah, it was kind of "Lord Of The Rings" lite.

I read the books when I was a kid to. My memory pretty much faded on them so I have no idea how close the movie was to the books.

As with the movie, I also read the Lord Of The Rings books as a kid and they stuck with me much more so then the Narnia tales.

Well penis length must be directly linked to ability to comprehend sarcasm because he completely missed mine..

Why are you speculating on the size of a penis? Such things shouldn't be of interest to you.

Missed what your penis? Is it that small? You must not have good sarcasm comprehension.

You guys should open a movie forum so these movies can be discussed individually.

It's a chore navigating this thread, plus there's movies I don't want really to read about before I watch them.

Indiana Jones 4 : Ford is old, the movie is very similar to the first one... It's mildly entertaining but toward the end, I was looking at my watch often...

    STREET KINGS

    GRADE - B

PREMISE - Keanu is your typical one man cop who happens to be an alcholic. He eventually must face some tough choices while working the case of a murdered ex partner who also was trying to rat him out.

CRITIQUE - The movie is full of action and good dialogue so you shouldn't get bored, just don't read too much into the ridiculous story that is chocked full of police corruption, double crosses, and twists.

MIRROR IMAGE AWARD - Goes to Whitaker for his portrayl of the corrupt cheif of police. I swear Whitaker must have studied Denzel's portrayl of Alonzo in Training Day very hard because there were instances where he actually sounded like Alonzo/Denzel.

This movie sucked ass and overrated Forrest Whitaker came nowhere NEAR to Denzel's character Alonzo.

Pathfinder - All I have to say is.........................:lol::lol::lol:

By far the best comedy about the Vikings non-conquest of the Native American Indians I have ever seen. I haven't laughed harder during a movie in a long time. :bears:
