I know what you mean - but Malignaggi's style could pose Haton a ton of problems.

    terrible fight

Meligina has a decent jab and that's about it... Hatton will hug, hump and wrestle to a UD

Yeah, Malignaggi figures to be a bit too "finesse" for Hatton's mauling style.

He prefers some room to throw that jab from his hip and his right hand isn't usually much of a factor, hurt or not.

    Cool...as long as it's not PPV i don't mind....

but SHIT..Hatton most know that he is DECLINING fast if he won't take a fight in between.....6 months till NOVEMBER..what is he going to do get fat then have to lose all that weight..?:kidcool:

decent fight, probably the best one that could be made at 140. I just wish fighters would get out of the mentality that they need 6 fucking months to prepare for a fight....what's wrong with July or August, exactly?

So what, he can't hurt anyone with it.

    I don't think it's the best fight at 140.

I'd rather see Kotelnik, Bradley or the Torres-Holt II winner fight "the champion" (who hasn't actually fought many of his top ten "contenders").

I'd rather see Hatton-Witter as well.

Malignaggi has been guided nicely in his career, but his name and reputation far exceed his accomplishments, IMO.

He has two wins over Lovemore Ndou....and a questionable decision against Ngoudjo.

Other than that, it's not like he's done much.

I thought they were looking at the fall for this fight before Hatton's Homecoming.

I think this fight all depends on which Paulie shows up. The one that sucked in his last two performances against Ndgodu(sp?), and the Ndou rematch will lose to Hatton. However if the Paulie that fought Cotto, or shut out Ndou the first time shows up, then he has an excellent chance of schooling Hatton.

I agree. Ironically, I was most impressed with Malignaggi in his loss to Cotto.

What version of Malignaggi fights Hatton may depend on whether or not he injures his right hand, or perhaps when he injures his hand, in the fight.

Well obviously his hand will have to hold up.

I would love to see Hatton fight anyone good again. It would be hilarious to see Luis Collazo knocking out some of Ricky Hatton's yellow stinky teeth onto the canvas. I hope they fight again, because that's what would happen, Ricky Hatton would get punched in his stinky mouth all night and have all his yellow teeth sprayed into the crowd and canvas.

What would you do, if you asked Paulie for an Autograph, but he slaps your pen away, stuffs his hand down your pants, and looks into your eyes? :kidcool: <---

What would you do if you were in the crowd of Hatton - Malinaggi and Paulie knocked one of Hatton's smelly yellow teeth into your lap?

Ofcourse, knowing all too well Paulie's pathetic power, I'd laugh myself awake, and further chuckle over a hot crisp on the kitchy table.

    Given:
    a) Witter's recent loss to Bradley
    b) Hatton looking borderline shot last week

Who would you now see winning a matchup between those two at the end of year instead?

Come off it, the kid showed a lot of heart and determination in that fight.

That's why I think Paulie has an excellent shot at beating Hatton.

Both guys look like they're on the decline, but Paulie might still have enough left to make a "last stand" kind of effort. IMO, Hatton already made his last stand against Mayweather. I'd be surprised if he does anything more than just decline from hereon in.

Well I would drop to the floor...DEAD.

I like Paulie and this will be a difficult fight for Hatton but the Magic Man can not and will not KO Ricky.
