    Nick Serra vs. Matt Makowski
R1 - Serra looks strong in the opening part of the round, getting Makowski to the ground and working for an armbar attempt. Serra eventually takes his opponent's back during the round and tries to lock on a choke, but Makowski stays alive and avoids the submission. Back on the feet, Makowski looks strong hitting Serra with punches and knees, as Serra looks to be losing steam.
MMAWeekly scores R1 10-9 for Nick Serra

R2 - Makowski continues to stalk Serra in the second round, avoiding any takedown while hitting Serra with good leg kicks and punches. Serra looks exhausted as he can barely keep his hands up, but Makowski is unable to capitalize outside of some punches in the clinch. Eventually, Serra drops trying to bait his opponent to the ground and struggles to get up. The referee takes a point. Serra does the same thing again, the referee deducts a point, Serra cannot continue and the referee stops the fight.

    Carlton Haselrig vs. Carlos Moreno
R1 - Haselrig takes the fight down early and then moves to attempt a foot or leg lock of some kind. After a lull in action, the fight is stood back up. Moreno looks good on the feet, but he is taken down again. Haselrig is unable to do much as he takes Moreno's back, but another break in action causes the fight to be stood back up again. The round ends. Moreno is unable to answer the bell for the 2nd session.

Like I said after the weigh in, Carlos came in ridiculously out of shape.

That's a shame, because he's actually a halfway decent fighter.

And what kinda bullshit is this? They're not gonna show the Liguori fight?

Christ, we had to sit through Nick Serra crawling on the ground and Carlos and Haselrig looking like two Manatees on th Discovery Channel, and we don't get to see Liquori, who's never in a dull fight?

They're never gonna get all 5 fights in at this pace.

I wonder if CBS will let them run late, like they do football.
