This is a good fight. I think Lawler is carrying him, or at least has at times, but this is fan-friendly.

Round 3 slow so far both fighters are gassed. Finger in the eye for Smith. Rest could speed up the action.

Ugh that was awful. I was really enjoying that fight. Lawler actually showed some decent boxing skills in there compared to some other MMA fighters... he actually moved his head and was blocking/parrying punches! Is he a natural righty fighting southpaw? He barely used his left hand in the fight.
His right hand is his power hand for sure. His striking is really good for MMA. He is an accurate puncher. My only critisism is that he only really fights in spots.
Smith, don't you remember Starnes telling the doctor he couldn't see then claiming he can fight on. If you want to fight on you don't tell the doctor you can't see.
