Maeda vs Torres is a good fight, the commentary is so biased for Torres though.

    These guys fucking rock.

Faber is winning the fight, Jens looked out on his feet for a minute, but Faber might be starting to tire.

Jens will probably get stopped in this next round.

WOW. Now thats a fucking show.

Faber is the man and Pulver is tough as shit. Faber is gonna be tough to beat at 145 thats for sure.

The Torres fight was off the hook too. Great night! Worth every penn.... oh wait lol. Thats some good free shit!!!

most definitely. Faber is a beast, a true professional of the sport.

I don't know how anybody couldn't become a fan after watching the Maeda-Torres fight.

Watching both guys twist each others foot and not about to submit was priceless. I thought they would both let their ankles snap before tapping.

And Torres is alway looking to inflict damage. The dude was constantly throwing heel kicks to the ass and thighs while on his back.

One of my big beefs with MMA versus boxing is fatigue. In boxing there is no place to hide when you get dead tired. In MMA guys tend to hit the deck and pull guard to grab a breather. That shit doesn't happen with Torres.

that looked like both didn't know how to do an ankle lock or didn't have enough power to make it hurtful...

Agreed. I became a big fan of torres last night. I was impressed with his jabs and i liked how calm and collected he looked in there. i will mark down the dates that torres and faber fight again

if faber was a beast, he should've stopped pulver, who usually get the shit knocked out of him whenever he loses.

Thats in a different weight class.

You might be right.. But you have to admit it was a cool and tense few minutes while they both twisted with all their 'little man' might.

But by the same token this is also the same Jens Pulver that traded with BJ Penn for 5 rounds without batting an eyelash at 155 pounds in their first fight.

I think he's got to think about 155 if he wants big fights. I don't know that he can carry the additional weight.

Weight not being an issue, I would love to see him in with Edgar, Griffin or Maynard.

Miguel Torres is the damn man. What an exciting fighter this kid is. I can't wait to see him again.

That double toe hold\ankle lock looked like something out of WWF.

I thought it looked ridiculous, especially considering they couldn't hit the other guy in the face with their free leg and the commentator yelling like he was gonna get a seizure. But that Torres guy seems very good

Didn't that happen with Dan Severn and Ken Shamrock before? I know there was an old fight where that exact thing happened.

That was kind of funny. The rest of that figh was very entertaining.

I don't think he can compete at 155. He is small, he can't be taller than about 5'5.

I think it would be like hatton at 147 if Faber were to move up.

Agreed. I don't think he'd have the same success at 155. He's pretty small at 145 as it is.

The double toe hold thing also happened in Bas Rutten and Frank Shamrock's third fight as well.
