If Schaeffer is pushing for Cotto-Mosley II...that certainly wouldn't seem to be in line with DLH's talk of Cotto in December. A quote Schaeffer gave to Setanta, quoted by Mark Vester.
The first fight was pretty good but i'm not personally interested in a rematch. I doubt too many others are either.
Yeah, of course the only one that really matters is Arum. Cotto needs another fight later this year. It's not coming against Mayweather, so if it's not coming against DLH, then there aren't a whole lot of other "names" at 147...at least not in terms of pay per view sellers. If Clottey beats Judah, that'd be an in-house fight for Arum...but that isn't a big pay per view fight. A rematch with Margarito possibly...but it'd have to be a good fight to do that again.
Speaking of leftovers, how about Cotto-Cintron in Roberto Clemente Coliseum? Or Cotto against his own leftovers with Quintana II in RCC.
when mosley retires, all of his significant fights will go down in pairs. 2x win over oscar 2x win over vargas 2x loss to forrest 2x loss to wright 2x loss to cotto (most likely) i love how people back mosley's career by saying he took on all comers, but only one of his wins truly stand out, which was the first oscar win. seems to me like mosley is a guy who can't overcome intangibles.
Yeah, but if not for the DLH paydays he might've taken his time coming up to 147 and perhaps never have gone to 154.
If Williams wins on Saturday i would to see Cotto fight him. I think Williams would give Cotto alot of problems.
