Son of a bitch. Looks like Campbell is left out in the cold. I guess he'll have to go beat up on Khan.

I hope Casa loses to JMM. Diaz vs Katsidis is a good fight.

i like both jmm and casamayor, but who would want to go see that especially if it lands in vegas? it would be great if diaz-katsidis was on the undercard.

Nate Campbell is gonna be fighting Joan Guzman. Hes the #1 contender at 135 now.

It's going to be a god awful fight, but I'll take marquez.

However, Casamayor would have bashed up diaz.

Diaz-Katsidis is going to be an amazing fight. Possibly better then Cotto-Margarito.

I think its going to be an amazing fight. Juan and Cassamayor have already been in FOTY candidates so far this year.

Since the Jandeang fight Marquez has been very aggressive and exciting. If Cassamayor can be as effective with his left hand as Pac was this fight will be a war.

I dunno. I agree on marquez, he's certainly stepped up his game, and certainly his watchability.

But Casamayor is a spoiler, the katsidis fight was only exctigin because of the shifts in momentum and Katsidis' sheer aggression.

The reason I think JMM - Casa is going to be boring is purely because, although they have both been in good fights, BOTH of them do have a counter puncher mentality, and when you get 2 counter punchers, it's never a good fight.

You're fucking mad if you doubt that. Campbell outgutted, outmuscled, and outmanned diaz, and casa is a tough, crafty old wardog, kind of like a lightweight hopkins.

He would fuck diaz up, and fuck him up badly. And bear in mind I fucking HATE casamayor. Hate the little bastard.

But Campbell stayed in his chest in that fight and punched right with Diaz.

    Casamayor isn't doing that.

I would like to see where Diaz's confidence level is his next fight. The same for Katsidis. Not sure that's the best fight for either, long term.

I'm not saying he'll do it exactly the same way, I'm just saying that he undoubtedly has what it takes to beat diaz.

Diaz doesn't have as much guts and determination as people think, he only does when the fight is pretty much going his way.

So you are unbiased, in that case, let me double them

    :notallthere::notallthere::notallthere: :notallthere:

Casamayor is washed up. He lost to Santa Cruz, and if Katsidis wasn´t an overanxious chinless bum, he would have beaten Casamayor was well.

Casamayor would have a tremendous edge in ring intelligence, and Diaz isn't a fighter you really need to "figure out", he's primarily a volume-puncher.

I do wonder how Casmayor would do for 12 rounds against that style, at his age.

Not only am I unbiased, but I have rooted for everyone who has ever fought casamayor. I can't stand him.

Katsidis is not a bum, and you could have said the same thing about him, seeing as santa cruz and kid diamond beat casa, so will katsidis etc.

Casamayor seems to be one of those fighters that pull out the important fights, he tends to win when he needs to, and loses to guys like KD and Santa Claus.

And really, diaz is just not that good. He was good enough to beat gutless, washed up freitas, but I don't think he's got it in him to beat the likes of campbell and casamayor.

I'd also pick someone like bradley to do a number on diaz.

Katsidis will NOT be an easy fight Diaz! Even if Juan wins, Kat will give him hell! Kat could very well beat the shit outta Diaz.

Can't agree about Casa vs Diaz. I think Casamayor's only chance would be a KO and Diaz is durable enough to last the distance. I think Diaz would have won a wide UD.

Personally I think Diaz-Katsidis is pretty much a pick em. Juan has a better chin, and better skills, but Katsidis is a bigger puncher, and IMO has more heart and mental toughness. I think the fight will come down to which one is physically stronger, and can force the other back, since neither can fight effectively backing up.

And making no mistake, I'll be HEAVILY rooting and hoping for Kat to put the Baby Cow on a stretcher.

Maybe in the past. Now he´s 35 years old and stumbling through the ring on shaky legs. Diaz is just as busy as Cruz or Katsidis, but overall a far superior fighter.

this should be a lesson to Campbell who god knows why thinks he can tell promoters and fighters what's what.

I love how Campbell gets shit for calling out the linear champ. I wish more fighters would step up and tell it like it is like Campbell does. All he's asking is to fight the best guy in the division. How can anyone dislike his for that?

a lesson? Casa's the one that looks like the fool in all of this. He has options, thanks to his affiliation with Golden Boy. But so far, he's stalled for over two months (and is now being given an extra five days thanks to a snag in the proposed bout agreement), and STILL hasn't come up with a satisfactory counter offer from his own promoter.

RUMORS of a Marquez fight have surfaced - but for two months, the rumor was that he's facing Juan Diaz. Even if it's Marquez - do you honestly see that PPV being anything other than a disaster or a last-minute cancellation?

If Campbell-Casa II doesn't happen next, then it'll be Campbell-Guzman, either on Showtime or on DonKingTV.com. His next move is already in place if this one falls through.

Campbell is a fool because of the way he goes about things.

Somehow somebody told him that beating Juan Diaz gave him the key to the boxing world.

Somehow every promoter has to do what he says when he says it.

I do agree CAsa/Campbell 2 is the fight to make at 135 but Campbell insulting Goldenboy was gonna do it for CAmbpell.

As it is not many people wanna do business with King for obvious reasons. So him beating Juan Diaz doesn't change much except he won some belts.

But that big win is suppposed to secure more big fights. But the guy talks like everyone owes him something.

I think i'ts pretty stupid from Campbell to think he can dictate anything.

At the end of the day he is still a mediocre figther who is not marketable and his tied to a promoter people wanna stay away from.

YOu would think he would make an effort to work with people. Instead he shits on everyone and expects people to run to him and give him big fights.

I don't dislike him for that. I think him fighting CAsamayor is the best figtht to make.

but the last thing he needs to to is insult the people he wants to work with.

Goldenboy don't need him. He is not a name fighter. He never was. Beating Juan Diaz didn't change that. But he acts like he became a superstar overnight and all the shit he talks won't have consequences.

speaking your mind is one thing. Burning bridges with the people you wanna do business with is fucking stupid.

I woulnd' work with that asshole either if I was with goldenboy. I'm sure they would do business with him if he came correct from the beginning. But he started trashing everyone besides the fighters. It's fucking stupid.

campbell has one important thing going for him. don king.

king mustve been ecstatic that campbell beat the crap out of diaz and got some retribution against savannah for king.

dkp will make sure campbell is paid well in his next few bouts until he loses.

i'll take marquez over casamayor in a dull fight and diaz to beat up katsidis

Don King never gave a shit about his fighters.

I'm sure he is happy that Juan got his ass kicked. Still doesn't change the fact that Campbell is not popular and the guy is talking shit to anybody he could possibly be making a deal with.

At least Campbell should shut the fuck up and let Don get him the fights.
