I dunno if he choked brah... I think age caught up to him. I could tell in the first round, his speed & timing were nothing compared to what they once were. Guess beating up bum ass Picadildo made it appear that he had more left than he really does.
To be honest I think he looked alright in the first couple of rounds. Same old forrest, same good punching technique, timing and accuracy. I'm still surprised Mora won.
I thought his accuracy wasn't there from the get-go but that might have to do with Mora being such a herky-jerky fucker. In the later rounds he looked tired without a workrate and even bothered by shots from someone who isn't known as a puncher at all. It's either one of those over night slippages or he had a real problem yesterday - part of that was Mora, too Mora fought pretty excellent.
He's been slipping. Ever since Quartey beat him a couple years ago. Didn't expect Mora to do it but Forrest looked pretty bad last night. No accuracy, no stamina and God was he ever slow.
Forrest looked out of shape to me. He was gassed and his speed was not there at all. I think he took the fight lightlty and paid the price. If I was him I'd go into hiding for the rest of my life after losing to that scrub.
Indeed it was. He looked very outta shape. He coulda beaten Mora easily if he had just used his fuckin jab, but I guess his jab will never be what it once was. Still, I didnt know he had a rematch clause. I think he can win a rematch, provided he comes in better shape, and uses his jab as much as he possibly can. Mora is an eye cancer cunt who shouldnt hold a major belt. Forrest should be ashamed of himself for losing, but he has a chance to get that belt back.
I find it strange that Forrest would come in out of shape. Firstly because I read him talking about how he can't take the fight lightly because Mora will be gunning for him. But even if that was bullshit and he thought Mora was a complete bum, why would he talk all that shit to get people to watch the fight and then show up in less than stellar shape? If you're not in shape you can't put on the type of performance that will make people want to see you fight again. Anyway on BT he was on there saying he had an off night just like the one Paul Willams said he had in the first Quintana fight.
