This would be the only big fight for Oscar out there. Wouldn't surprise me in the least to see it.

    Oscar, fuck off... please.

I want to see the Margarito/Cotto winner fight Williams for the vacant welterweight title.

I have no problem with Oscar fighting the winner of that fight. That is the only fight involving Oscar that I would care about.

I really hope the winner lays Oscar out because if Oscar beats whoever the winner is and rides into the sunset, that would suck.

How can people hate on Oscar fighting the winner of Cotto/Margarito? That's the absolute BEST fight he could possibly make. I swear people will find a reason to bitch about anything.

I just want Oscar to go away. If he wins that fight, it is good for him but not for the sport.

If he gets beaten brutally, then it will be good for the sport, but why take the chance.:eek:ld:

C'mon you don't wanna see Cotto rake DLH with body shots?
Or bust up his face like he does with all of his opponents?

I am curious to see how Cotto would fight DLH and how he'd deal with DLH's left hand, especially in the early part of the fight.

    It didn't hurt Lennox Lewis.

It may depend on who's behind Lampley's kissing that night as to the fan reaction.

If Oscar REALLY wants to take on a fight in the fall why doesn't he fight Paul Williams in September. I'm sure Williams could do the fight after hardly working up a sweat last weekend. Then if DelaHoya were to somehow be able to get past Williams he'd be perfectly positioned to fight the Cotto-Margarito winner.

He already mentioned fighting the winner. That's all the positioning he needs.

He probably ruined it for us now. I have a feeling Cotto/Margarito will be a DRAW.

now that Mayweather is "retired" the best fight that can be made is Miguel Cotto vs. De La Hoya..

When I really think about it, I am nice, all Oscar wants to do is make a little money and by way of fantastic coincidence, it's about time a select few immensely popular lightweight fighters are honoured and recognised for thier underappreciated services to boxing, and first of all, ......how the fuck is that a contradiction when Golden Boy's healthy initiative was here first?. Oscar is boxings most animated and celebrated businessman, and that's not because 98% of us are just bone dense. I could waver on for hours entailing the specifics that entitles Oscar's divinity on both a natural and supernatural level, but for now let's say he's essentially brilliant with the emphasis that we owe him one. Furthermore, for a nation that embraces the wealthy, I think Oscar is probably being underpaid, and quite frankly, neglected amongst the social hierachy,.............it's an outrageous shame even if it's an anxiety induced hypothetical, for he may not be Jewish or whitebred, but my god, don't his virtues blow a mean left hook through the door of the fucking country club...

    :shit:

    Uh ohhhh...

Uh ohhhhhhhhhh....this above quote means you either,..

    1) Find pleasure in the thought of Cotto earning lots of money like a sickening Fraud-groupie, or you've been sucked in by the wave of sensationalism, which has tightenned your perception around Oscar to the extent that he verses someone,... just HAS to happen :nono: , you mink.
