    Seriously, who needs a belt? The belts are meaningless these days, this is a GREAT fight either way. Hopefully they put it on the same night as Calzaghe-Jones so all real boxing fans can vote with their feet.

    I'd like to see this fight, but there is no reason for Pavlik to take a fight with a guy like Kessler right now. Who is Kessler? His claim to fame is losing to Calzaghe and that is all he's known for. He's not a name, he doesn't bring money to the table. It's a good fight, but it makes no sense at this point. Kessler needs this kind of fight not Pavlik.

    You might be underestimating boxing fans a bit - real boxing fans will love this fight and they'll watch it. Why keep pandering to the lowest common denominator by putting so much emphasis on name recognition and whether he holds a belt or not. That's what's fucking up the whole match making process in the sport.
