This fight woulda been PPV worthy had it taken place back in 03-04, but sure as hell not now!

In any case, Mosley will tax that ass!

The funny thing is, I don't think it would have been PPV if it happened back then.

Like everyone, I agree this fight has no business on PPV. I'd love to see it, as it should be entertaining, but I ain't paying for it.

War Mayorga. I think he could have a better chance then most to win just because Shane can't fight a disciplined fight. Mayo will at least be competitive with Shane.

It seems like we're getting better fights on regular HBO and Showtime than on PPV this year.

I love this fight for one reason. It takes Mayorga out of the running for a Pavlik fight. I did not want to see Pavlik vs Mayorga. What a mismatch that would have been. Let Pavlik fight MW's not fat WW's.

Yeah, instead we get the pleasure of watching Pavlik-Rubio.:shit:

And who will Kelly fight after that? Another scrub?

Call me if he fights Kessler, I'd be shocked.

Who is Kessler? I'll tell ya. Nobody! At least as far as anyone in the US is concerned.

Call me if Kessler fights someone with a pulse. So far his claim to fame is a win over tough but very limited Andrade and a loss to Calzaghe.

While Pavlik is THE MW champ. I'd rather Pavlik clean out 160 before moving up anyhow.

He is the mw champ, but then Calzaghe's far better than anyone Pavlik has faced yet so to criticize Kessler for losing that fight doesn't mean all that much when Pavlik hasn't proven he can beat him, either.

If Pavlik and Calzaghe fight and Pavlik does better than Kessler did then it will matter.

I'll say I don't see Kessler having as close a fight against Taylor as Pavlik did in either of their fights.

And I don't think there's anybody that Pavlik has faced who wouldn't be a significant underdog to Kessler.

Kessler should fight Taylor and see! I doubt Kessler would stop Jermain like Pavlik did. In fact, I don't even think Kessler wins the fight.

Who did Kessler actually beat that is better than Taylor? Don't you dare say Andrade either!

I doubt Kessler would get dropped like Pavlik did, either.

Neither guy has beaten a really great or elite fighter, IMO.

Yeah Pavlik's beaten Taylor, twice, but he was dropped and somewhat close to getting knocked out the first fight - in which he was losing on the cards at the time it was stopped - and won a relatively close decision in the rematch.

I think Kessler would handle Taylor better than Pavlik did in either of his two tries.

Has he beaten a fighter with a better resume than Taylor? I don't know, but I didn't thik Taylor beat Hopkins or Wright, so then I don't think Taylor's resume is as good as his record suggests, anyways.

I think Taylor would have a tough assignment against Andrade or Mundine. Kessler beat them decisively.

Everybody said the same thing about Mayo-Vargas. Then they watched it and said what a fight.

We can do this all day long. haha

I doubt if Kessler was dropped he'd get right back up and end up winning the fight by KO himself. He looked a little mentally weak to me against Calzaghe. He could have definitely tried harder.

I'm not saying he is a bad fighter. I do like Kessler but I don't think he's as good as people are giving him credit for. Pavlik would knock Mundine into next week if they fought.

Who is Gary Lockett? Who is Rubio? I dont care to see Kelly clean out 160 if 160 is chocked full of bums. The only middleweight Kelly should be fighting is Abraham, and last interview I saw of Kelly, he didnt seem to anxious to fight the smurf.

Its unfair that alot of people write Kessler off after losing to the P4P best in the world. Kessler is the best supermiddle in the world, and represents a very legit threat of beating Kelly. Moreso than ANYONE at middleweight does.

Forget about tough assignment. I'd pick both those guys over Taylor, esp Andrade, who'd be a nightmare for Taylor.

I'm huge on Kessler, but there isn't one thing he does better than Pavlik.
