This is old news. Hatton and Pacquiao both want this fight but Pac has to get by David Diaz first. Unlike morons like Latinqueen, most of us know this won't be an easy fight for Pac given the size and strength advantage that Diaz has over Pacman. But when a guy is going for his 4th title in 4 weight divisions, you have to expect some difficulty as he moves up.

Manny is biting off more then he can chew at this point. Hatton's mugging style is all wrong for him to go along with the size difference.

Manny comes into the ring weighing damn near 150, I can assure you that come fight night, he'll look bigger and stronger than Diaz. Diaz aint beating Manny! Not David Diaz at least. Juan would have a chance.

Speed kills. Moreso than size does. If Manny can carry his speed to 140, Hatton wont be able to avoid his straight left to save his life!

Only your faggot ass and Arum think this fight will be competitive.:atu:

The same shot Morales that got Ko'd back to back by manny arguably beat Diaz.

Hell even that scrub that fought on the JMM/Pacquiao rematch undercard left Diaz looking like he was in a gang fight after 10 rounds.

The fact that Roach and Manny are looking at Hatton in the same year should tell you the win over Diaz is a done deal.

at least pretend you know a little bit of boxing and be honest when manny gets a gimme fight. :dunno:

He's actually going for his 5th title in five weights.

david diaz really is a mediocre fighter.

a hand picked punching bag who arum kept on ice against a cotton fisted club fighter on the marquez-pacquaio undercard.

the guy is fortunate santa cruz gassed out as usual after beating his ass round after round.

I give him a chance vs pacquaio only because he's a natural super lightweight.

hatton beats the balut out of pacquaio without a doubt.

pac probably wants to retire soon and if so, i guess getting his ass kicked by hatton would make him the most money.

i'd take casamayor, campbell, santa cruz, juan diaz and maybe even julio diaz to beat pacquiao. hell, i'm not even sure that he gets by david diaz.

Manny is too small and too declined to beat even this version of Hatton. Ricky would smother the shit outta him...

manny is quick and wont have a hard time finding his target, but it's going to take a lot out of him to stay on his toe against a much bigger guy.

hatton recently got hurt on the inside with a hook, but manny's hook won't do much damage imo.

hatton exhausts manny in less than 6. all he would need to do is grapple a little and land some body shots.

:lol:WHOlio Diaz is a bum. God only knows why people CONTINUE to hype Julio, he's a mediorcre fighter and has been one his entire career. Manny would hospitalize J.Diaz.

I doubt Paulie is going to step aside. He isn't about to let Pac move up and beat Hatton when he's ripe for the taking right now! He looked awful in the Lazcano fight. Paulie beats him, and Pac would also have a great chance at beating him.

    He would?

Pacquiao's been stopped to the body before so I'd love to see how well he'd take it there from Hatton. And if he loses speed moving up in weight, that isn't going to help him much.

A former flyweight champ being discussed in a possible showdown with THE 140 pound champ. This is what boxing is all about. :bears:

He hasn't even fought the champ at 135...and he's not scheduled to.

So this is a rather interesting take from someone who was hyper critical of JMM even being discussed for Campbell when a lot of people thought he had just beat the champ of the division right below the one he was moving up to.

But I wouldn't consider that as an example of your blatant bias.

he is mediocre, but he also withstood 10 punishing rounds vs. jose luis castillo.

juan put a beating on him, but at the same time, he also gave him very little room to breathe. pacquiao doesnt fight consistently round after round especially if the other guy is showing some movement here and there.

julio also has pretty decent power and once it lands on pac, pac will get hurt.

i guess we'll find out how pac will look at 135, but my guess is that he will lose and lose badly next time he fights a good 135 pounder.

someone like santa cruz would beat him up and stop him.

I hope this fight does not happen. There are so many big fights at 135 for Manny right now.

Huh wasn't you on here complaining about Marquez wanting to go from 130 to 135 to fight the Champ aka Nate Campbell. Make up your mind fanboy.

I wasn't complaining about that fantasy fight. All I said is Fagquez didn't deserve the shot. When did I say anything about it being a crap fight? It seems like people agreed because Fagquez isn't going to get Campbell. :atu:

In a P4P match up it wouldn't even be a contest, but at 140 Ricky is too big and too strong. Pac needs space to land that straight left and Ricky is going to be in his grill the whole night.

Hatton is freakishly strong at 140 and you bet you're ass he's going to bull Pac around the ring and smother that straight left. If Pac can bring that speed and explosiveness he may have a chance if he can potshot and accumulate enough straight lefts to wear Ricky out late. Unfortunately, Pac cannot fight going backwards and often squares up and goes toe to toe on the inside which will be his downfall against the much bigger man.

Manny's CLEARLY Cashing Out by Taking a Hatton Fight...It's Yet ANOTHER Sign of his Diminishing HUNGER for the Sport of Boxing...

I don't think it's "cash out" fight, but rather a no lose situation for Pac.

Hatton has not looked impressive in quite some time and his stamina and chin are questionable. On top of that, he's incredibly easy to hit. If Pac can beat him that will pretty much put him into GOAT territory. If Pac loses, he doesn't really have much to lose. He'll likely get an 8 figure payday and he'll have lost to a much bigger fighter anyways.
