What I'm saying is don't hate the player, hate the game.

To get ahead in politics you have to play the game somewhat.

So I guess getting the gullible to believe you stand for change and hope is just playing the game.

Consider yourself 'played'.

You have to get yourself in a position of power before you can change shit. That seems obvious to me.

I'd like to see a list of all the wonderful changes Ron Paul has brought to the American people during his brilliant career.

No Noble ... you know better than that.

He's flippin and lyin his way in ... but once he gets there he'll be as honest as an angel right?

His history speaks otherwise. His word means nothing. With this move , he's not throwing the election by keeping it ... he's out right lying , lied about his own political reform statements.

What this move is , is a tactic to get enough money to buy the election.

Sure Petre, Obama's going to "buy" the election because McCain just won't be able to keep up with him.

I'm not saying that either ... but that even more so proves my point.

You suggested he'd throw the election to be honest. Does that mean he'd have any trouble keeping up with McCain if he kept his promise ?

See how that works?

These assholes can justify anything and people will help them justify it for the sake of winning alone. Give me an honest man with a good plan and he has my vote.

Technically it's not a lie until he does something different then he said he would do. Right now it's just a contradiction.

Too bad McCains ties to bush and his swallowing the cum of the north vietnamese are much more damaging. :mj:

Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, announced this morning that he will not enter into the public financing system, despite a previous pledge to do so.

Are you suggesting he's just kidding ?

You are more worried about someones words then someones actions, oh I don't know actions like being a regular on north vietnamese radio, then now saying the he won't talk to the enemy?

Yeah, it's not a lie until he doesn't or does what he says he wouldn't do, since he hasn't acted on what he said it's not a lie yet, it's a contradiction in words.

And too bad obamas lies aint shit compared to the lies of bush and company that have cause thousands of deaths.

Didn't Obama say he would be for it if proper changes were made? Now that they haven't been made, he doesn't want in.

You speak as though I am a fan of McCains.

What does McCain's lies have to do with Obama's already breaking promises ?

See the point of this particular part of the topic is simple. Obama isn't change ... he's more of the same bullshit wrapped in a different colored package.

In Michigan, Obama Meets Privately with Yet Another Hezbollah Agent -

But Publicly Excludes Muslims @ Rally --

While the Obama campaign is allegedly publicly staying away from Muslims and reportedly barring them from pics at an Obama event (though Detroit Newsistan and Reuters photos show otherwise), privately he's hanging with them.

Yesterday, Barack Hussein Obama wrapped up his trip to Michigan by meeting with a group of "community leaders."

But one of those so-called leaders has been identified as an agent of Hezbollah--Osama Siblani, publisher of the Arab American News. Siblani,, an open supporter of the terrorist group, was handpicked for the invite by the Obama campaign and spoke one-to-one with Siblani.

But Siblani's brother works for Al-Manar a/k/a Hezbollah TV in Lebanon. And Siblani's newspaper is Hezbollah's house organ in America. Sources say Hezbollah has funneled money to the paper. Siblani was at a small 2006 Dearbornistan meeting identified in the Kuwaiti newspaper, Al-Seyassah, as a meeting of Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah's American Hezbollah agents.

And Siblani has openly praised Hezbollah as "freedom fighters"--the group that murdered over 300 U.S. Marines and U.S. Embassy employees--everywhere from Hezbollah rallies to interviews on National Public Radio (a/k/a National Palestinian Radio) to a Detroit radio station which constantly has him on, unchallenged. At a 2006 pro-Hezbollah rally in Dearbornistan, which I attended, Siblani called for the participants to "pray for the Hezbollah martyrs."

While Siblani claims that Obama was not responsive to Siblani's direct question to him about Obama's flip-flop-flip speech on Jerusalem at the AIPAC conference, Obama didn't exactly defend Israel or its right to an undivided Jerusalem or anything in the AIPAC speech to Siblani, either--a true sign that Obama doesn't really believe in anything he says.

And the very fact that Obama invited Siblani to talk with him is yet another sign that Barack Obama has no problem with supporters...

In AIPAC speech, Obama repeats support for Israel, peace talks

In what may have been a veiled reference to reports of American opposition to Israeli negotations with Syria, Obama said: "We should never seek to dictate what is best for the Israelis and their security interests. No Israeli prime minister should ever feel dragged to or blocked from the negotiating table by the United States."

The Illinois senator also called for continued American military assistance to Israel. "We must preserve our total commitment to our unique defense relationship with Israel by fully funding military assistance and continuing work on the Arrow and related missile defense programs," he said.

Obama added that he was concerned about the Palestinian unity government accord.

Turning to Iran, the presidential hopeful called for direct engagement with the Islamic republic over its nuclear program.

"We need the United States to lead tough-minded diplomacy," he said. "This includes direct engagement with Iran similar to the meetings we conducted with the Soviets at the height of the Cold War."

"Tough-minded diplomacy would include real leverage through stronger sanctions," Obama continued. "It would mean more determined U.S diplomacy at the United Nations. It would mean a cooperative strategy with Gulf States who supply Iran with much of the energy resources it needs. It would mean full implementation of U.S. sanctions laws."

Obama blamed what he called the Administration's failed strategy in Iraq for strengthening the Iranian position, placing "Israel and other nations friendly to the United States in greater peril."

Barack Obama wants to Negotiate with Terrorists But Stand Up to Law Abiding Americans

Here are quotes from Barack Obama at last night’s CNBC Democrat Presidential Debate. Followed with my rebuttals.
And what we should be doing is reaching out aggressively to our allies, but also talking to our enemies and focusing on those areas where we do not accept their actions, whether it be terrorism or developing nuclear weapons, but also talking to Iran directly about the potential carrots that we can provide in terms of them being involved in the World Trade Organization, or beginning to look at the possibilities of diplomatic relations being normalized.
We do not negotiate with terrorists or those who support them.
Now, there may come a point where those measures have been exhausted and Iran is on the verge of obtaining a nuclear weapon, where we have to consider other options. But we shouldn’t talk about those options now, when we haven’t even tried what would be a much more effective approach.
How do you know if diplomacy will be effective? Did diplomacy keep Sadam Hussein from raping women and performing chemical “science experiments” on the Kurds? No. Shouldn’t we be prepared just in case diplomacy doesn’t work? Yes.
The president has to lead that diplomacy, which is why I’ve said I would convene a meeting of Muslim leaders upon taking office because I think we have to send a strong signal that we are willing to listen and not just talk, and certainly not just dictate or engage in military action.
We do not negotiate with terrorists or those who support them.
But we nevertheless have to take steps that are not only engaging Iraqis — the Shia, the Sunni and the Kurds — but also engaging Iran, Syria and other powers in the region.
We do not negotiate with terrorists or those who support them.
And finally, I think we’ve got to have a president who has the experience of standing up, even when it’s not easy, which is what I did in 2002 when i stood up against this war in Iraq 10 days before the authorization.
Obama will stand up to Bush but not terrorists or rogue leaders.
That is the kind of judgment that I’m displaying during this campaign when I go to Detroit and I say to the automakers that they need to raise fuel efficiency standards; not in front of some environmental group.
Obama will stand up to American companies but not terrorists and rogue leaders.
I’m not fearful, just as Joe isn’t, to have a debate about this with Rudy Giuliani because we’ve got the facts on our side.
Why not just give Rudy some carrots?
I have confidence in the American people.
With the exception of Bush, the military’s ability to win the war in Iraq, Republicans, and Senator Hillary Clinton.
The way to respond to swiftboating is to respond forcefully, rapidly and truthfully.
The Swift Boat Veterans were telling the truth. So, we must use force on the veterans. But not the terrorists. Got it.
I do think that we have to have more instruction in the classroom.
Last year, my daughter was taught by her public school teacher that Korea is part of China and that the Philippines are in South America. This year she was taught that it’s the President’s job to call up the National Guard (that’s a Governor’s responsibility) and that the capital of China is Beijing (it’s Shanghai). Today she walked a classmate to the nurse and the nurse had her put a paper towel on her face for no reason.
I do not want more public education. I want my taxes lowered so I can send my kids to private school!
And by the way, instituting a universal health-care system that emphasizes prevention will free up dollars that potentially then can go to reimbursing doctors a little bit more.
Cancer patients have to wait for treatment in countries with universal healthcare. Survival rates are lower. Seniors can’t get elective hip replacement surgeries. Women are discouraged from having epidurals during childbirth. One woman was predetermined to be a bad mother before her baby was born and the government was making plans to take her child away from her once born. Now the British are starting to go to India for care!
And they’re seeing better solvency, but they’ve done it on the backs of consumers.
Tax increases on the wealthy will also be carried on the backs of consumers.
We’re not taking care of kids who are alive and unfortunately are not getting health care.
That’s true. The Democrats refuse to send a reasonable S-CHIP reauthorization program to the President. Instead, they keep sending bills that expand to families making upwards $80k who can afford healthcare.
We’re not taking care of senior citizens who are alive and are seeing their heating prices go up.
But I thought the Social Security program wasn’t in crisis? And isn’t Medicare a government health care program? I thought government health care was the answer!

Obama supported reform. Basically said that he'd be involved should they take effect. They didn't. So he's not in.

Where's the dilemma?

What part remains to be seen, that he helped enemies othe U.S. in the past and present? or that he supports bush and company? There is nothing left to be seen about that, there are many facts to support both claims.
