the only point i was making is that cell phones and other technologies continually go down in price due to lack of constrictive federal regulation, unlike in healthcare

    holy misrepresentation batman

There's plenty of stories you could tell. Right wingers will always say the Government was responsible.

I don't know, maybe we have a different view of what is a right winger. So I may have worded it wrongly, people that have economic views on the right of the political spectrum tend to be very hostile to government and attribute every major economic problem to the government. At the same time, left leaning people always attribute economic problems to free markets. Sometimes, it's very hard to know who's right. Sorry for the confusion.

huh... I wonder why the business cycle is still considered unexplained among economists... There's no consensus, far from it.

being hostile and suspicious of govt, well isnt that the point? thats what this country was founded on in-part, the principles of freedom and liberty, and to be suspicious of govt and as jefferson said (think it was TJ) to bind politicians down "by the chains of the constitution"

its probably unexplained if you talk to an economist that works for the govt, i dont think its a mystery to anyone else

read ludwig von mises or any other austrian school economist

to put it plainly, the fed pours out easy credit with artificially low interest rates, theres your boom, then of course the predictable recession comes afterwards

I think you should read a little bit about the banking system, the monetary policy and why it was put in place.

thats besides the point, its not authorized by the constitution, and is undoubtedly a major issue and has probably caused more harm than any alleged good

Don't know about the constitution, but you should look at the business cycle before the implementation of monetary policy. Look at the frequency of recessions and you might want to rethink what you said.

there is no authorization for the fed in the constitution, thats an undisputable fact

all i have to use as an example for the ineffectiveness of the fed is our current situation

inflation remains high, and all the cuts theyve implemented has done absolutely squat, in fact, our economy has only gotten worse

we are at the point of stagflation almost

And that's ALL he said on it ... right ?

Remember ? YOu're point was Paul had no intelligent plan. Nothing that would actually work.

In reality , what won't work is Obama's plan for shitty socialized national healthcare that will require more spending and more taxes in a nation whose economy is going down the shitter and is already over taxed and can afford no more.

It's funny but ... I fully understand why Obama's schtick works.

Tell a Nation that's going broke that you're going to give them a free ride , and they'll jump on board like the stupid useless lobotomized lemmings they are.

Just don't tell them it's a one way ticket to hell. :hammert:

    Ron Paul has no plan.

It's the equivalent of me BSing on a term paper. In essence, his plan is that he'll fix the economy and everything will work itself out. Everything else is just fluff.

His ideas, while appealing to some, had no substance whatsoever.

You mean you refuse to see the substance ,,, because your man lacks that in buckets.

Were it Obama's plan you'd be shouting it from the rooftops ... SEE SEE LOOK SEE!!!!

And truth be told ... if Obama had any plans with similar vision and intelligence , I'd be supporting him. His plans are shit. WHen he opens his mouth , shit comes out.

His latest shit is proof where he balks McInsanes Ideas as unrealistic for 10 years than starts talking nonsense about wind and solar power like he could get that implemented across the country in 20 years. What an idiot.

There is no substance. Show me something that doesn't involve you copy/pasting a link to ron paul's website like in the past. What I typed is 100% true.

Quite frankly, I don't even like Obama's healthcare plan very much, but it's a step in the right direction.

ARBEN: What is Ron Paul's plan on healthcare?

    RESPONSE:pauls plans from Pauls site.

ARBEN: show me something besides you posting quotes from Paul's website on his thoughts and plans ...

More proof of the idiocy of Obamanites ... What do you want , me to make stuff up ?

Had the measures Paul advocates been put in place ... I'd be a few hundred grand richer .

So you've basically proven that you have no idea what Ron Paul's plan is since no matter how many times I ask, you can't come up with anything but a copy/pastre.

Even YOU can't read his bullshit!:atu:
