R1 mid of ring... chavez lands a clean tester hook...vanda's stuff all getting picked off vanda not getting through and then he does land a nice 1-2 and another right ...no effect chavez answers with a nice hook to body..boxing ...not engaging... vanda looks to be 3 inches shorter and the reach helps chavez. pretty slow, but besides the mentioned combo and a nice right with about 10 secs to go...vanda didn't get through much...the replay shows the last right was a very big, very clean punch. Probably chavez round though..he landed quite a bit more...but none bigger than that last punch chavez 10-9
R2 chavez coming forward and eats a jab, but steady stalking is letting him get through more...nice hook to body by chavez... jcc is just a bit too quick for vanda at times and his punches beat vanda's reflexes.. vanda on ropes..75 secs to go...chavez backs off...then nice combo... vanda does okay with instinct ducking away from overhand rights, but the body shots get there too easily...i suspect a body shot will end this... vanda does better when he isn't thinking about how much better chavez is chavez round...nothing big, though 20-18
r3 chavez coming forward and doing okay...retaliation punches by vanda not doing much damage, but some land nice body work by jcc..nice combo by vanda...chavez didn't show any defensive reflexes there and ate the last punch vanda not big enough puncher to win this fight even though he can sometimes land nice right by chavez..chavez just doing more..up and down...nice body hook by chavez...vanda replies with sparring punches... another nice body hook by chavez puts vanda on ropes... chavez gets about 15 secs of work there before vanda circles off at bell chavez round 30-27
R4 vanda does some okay work in first min...he does okay when he doesn't think chavez replies in 2nd min with some really clean, harder body shots.. scheduled for 10 and vanda won't make it due to the body shots, i'm guessing nice right by vanda..chavez comfortable engaging so vanda will get some shots in nice right by chavez and parlays it into a combo.. real big right in last 5 secs by chavez... chavez round
R5 as indicated by nice ringcard girl vanda starts out coming forward...chavez backs up..only lasts for 30 secs, but vanda did okay that way chavez keeping lead left at hip a lot of this fight...and he squares up...works against vanda since vanda is slow, but probably not wise against class chavez not going to body enough this round...then he does a nice combo to head and body...vanda doing better this round.. chavez eats about 4 in a row...none too hard 30 secs to go nice stuff by chavez..doesn't seem to be hurting vanda...nice right by jcc at bell closer round...still chavez by shutout
r6 chavez puts pressure without throwing so vanda lands some backing up shots, but most blocked vanda maybe ahead after 1st min jcc landing now in the 2nd min...vanda steps out of pocket to get air chavez working on stuff...i believe he can take him out at will..or at least that's how he is acting...but vanda hasn't really been hurt at all so far..so i could be wrong... chavez throwing too much for vanda wo win round...but vanda gets in a nice combo with 20 secs to go..chavez just outpunches him too much throughout chavez round
r7 chavez showing no urgency and tkaing some deep breaths...gives vanda some hope and he is noticeably more aggressive to start out chavez lets him have this first min then starts retaliating nice hook by vanda nice right by chavez... low blow...vanda sorry no big deal chavez lands some good stuff after they make up nice 1-2 by vanda more...chavez landing some decent stuff too...but this is vanda's round with 30 to go jcc stuff blocked as he tries to get this round believe it or not... vanda wins his first round.
r8 vanda lands a jab..and a right...and another clean right... i don't think this is meaning anything...but vanda is surely doing better chavez does some body work, but short with it vanda wins first min nice r to body by jcc.. chavez sticks mouthguard out to get air...vanda punches him a few times...vanda getting sort of confident, but looks sorta weary bot do ncie work by vanda...chavez gets air again...and again... this just making vanda more confident another vanda round jcc looking tired in corner...hmmm
no more fucking around...dad jumps up between rounds to give jr advice...jr's corner lets him r9 mid of ring and vanda is ready to trade...he does just fine..jr looks okay, but vanda doesn't have to think so he does well lots of trading here as chavez tries to stop the tide that vanda was on but vanda not wilting nice stuff by vanda...very good first 90 secs best of fight both guys too tired to put hurting on it seems..so lots of punches..but no power... vanda gets off with some uppercuts...chavez gets him in corner, but no results..vanda wings...sneak lead right by vanda..hook to body by chavez...cleaner by vanda in exchanges...crowd getting excited... another vanda round... i don't think i'm being swayed by the momentum shift..i think he is winning these rounds...not pos if it seems that way in person...hard to guage power on shots from tv in this type of fight... that's the 3rd round to vanda i have...i think
r10 good stuff in mid of ring..vanda busier..both getting some shots in..neither too affected dramatica as the announcers say nice right by vanda..95 secs to go vanda lands a big winning shot...no effect..now jcc gets him on the ropes..but vanda does better in exchanges...good stuff really good exchange..won by vanda vanda pushes him off..vanda the boss with 1 min to go...chavez on ropes..first time all night... chavez hurt and backing off...really just winded to death... 15 secs...chavez will get through... but clear vanda round... i have it 6-4 chavez...
jr sitting in corner...for a sec i thought this was going 12 because it looked like they were prepping him for another round...he's just exhausted.. tv graphics said x of 10, but it really looked like he was going to the 11th the way the cornermen didn't get into the ring...(yeah, too much info..haha) . scoring coming up...

stuff getting thrown into ring...interesting... 100-90??? that's not even a crooked card? you at least give vanda the last round if you are crooked....that guy's children, wife, and mistress must be kidnapped and he didn't want to take any chances
that's it for my feed...they showed jr getting interviewed by azteca guy (but didn't go to audio for it) as he was sitting on his butt at end of show, but my tivo had to switch channels...i don't think there was going to be any interview televised...they spent the last 4 mins or so just showing highlights and commenting...
