Still think Povetkin has no shot to make Wlad uncomfortable, you are crazy.

 

I do like these fights in Europe though. Saturday afternoon boxing is kinda cool. Brings back memories of Wide World of Sports and when the networks used to have boxing.

They meet in the middle of the ring....touchy...touchy gloves...fucking Wladimir looks SLOPPY as shit..he just doesn't seem able to hit TONY enough...Jab,jab by Tony...Wladimir not landing much...left to the boyd by Wlad...Jabs by Tony, right by Wlad, another, RIght to the body by Tony, another body shot while Wlad holds him...

Wladimir missing with the right lead..and falls into a clinch..Tony lands two right hands to the body while clinching. Straight right by Wladimir..Jab,jab, left hook slappy by Wladimir...

Left to the body by Tony, another, while Wlad tries to clinch him..

Round 5: Tony...maybe? Fuck i know..

WLADIMIR has that "SHIT what is happening" LOOK in his eyes....

Wlad's hitting alot of gloves and nothing, while Thompson's left finds home every time

Right hand by Wladimir catching TOny ducking....Right lead by Wladimir breakthrough TOny's guard.....Jab/straight left hand by TOny hard punch..pushing Wladimir back...Jab/Right hand combo by Wladimir...pushing Tony into the ropes..but Wlad doesn't go after him....

Both landed some good shots in 6th but Wlad more so. 5-1 Wlad, could be 4-2 too but WLad is in command.

This is how fights look between big guys, try to understand. It doesn't mean that midgets could compete

Now Thompson has to go into second gear (if he has one) and make it a fight, to push Wlad over the edge and tire him out. Then it will have been brilliant.

Jab,jab by Tony short..then throws the Left..but WLad ducks it...Jab/right by Wladimr, Tony thows the left and it lands but it does nothing to Wlad..Jab,jab by Wlad...RIght hand by Wladimir.snapping TOny's head back..

This isn't a fight where the better man wins, so much as it is a fight where the lesser man loses.

Wlad still winning after eight but Thompson is taking everything. I don't see how this fight could be as close as you guys say, Thompson's landed shots are body slaps in clinches.

This looks like Holmes-Williams

 

Thompson is a disgrace. He travelled so far just to do the minimum effort and just pleased to survive each round. His corner should throw the towel.

 

Thompson looks like he is in tua/rope-a-dope mode. I think he will be looking for a ko in the last 3 rounds. Probably won't get it since Wlad doesn't look too spent after 8, though.

 

So tell me again how Steward has improved Wlad. Sanders would still knock him out just like 5 years ago.
