Close to a pick em. Pavlik figures to be the better fighter at middle(Julian's prime was 154) but Jackson still had more than enough power at 160 to knock Kelly cold if he got caught. I dont see Pavlik's chin bein able to take the shots G-man took from Julian in thier first fight. Pick em fight.
I guess you could argue Jackson having a chance against any fighter ever at 160 lbs and below because of his punch. Of course it could happen here too but the chances for that are very slim. In all likelihood Pavlik batters him and wins fairly quickly
Any time Jackson is involved in an MM the question comes up whether somebody can absorb his shots. What about the reverse, can Julian take Pavlik's offensive onslaught? The answer is no.
If i was in Jackson's corner that's the advice i'd give him. Also i'd tell him to try to not get punched in the face himself. I think i'd make a pretty good corner man.
No he doesn't... Pavlik is an exciting, talented fighter whose most glaring weakness is his ability to get hit. If Zuniga can hit and hurt Kelly, and Taylor can hit and hurt Kelly, then Jackson would hit and SERIOUSLY hurt Kelly. Most likely somewhere around round six. MTF
