According to boxing confidential, it'll be Harris-Bradley on the U/C of Campbell-Guzman. Perhaps brother Jake can come along and confirm this. If so, this is Viv's LAST ever chance to make noise IMO. If can pull the upset, he'll have a belt.

Not that bad for a Showtime undercard fight and a first title defense...though Harris hasn't fought since the KO loss to Witter (which really was one of the better knockouts of last year).

Which is the main reason why Bradley should be strongly favored.

I would have rather seen Bradley fight Holt. I dunno why Showtime wouldnt have pushed for that fight.

Still, I agree that Bradley-Harris isnt a bad U/C fight at all.

I guess it remains true even today, as long as you can punch you're going to get the opportunity that better fighters should be seeing.

I gave upon Harris after the last time he was KTFO. He talks a load of shit only to be hammered.

I'd be surprised if that fight were to happen even next year.

Bradley's handlers took a real chance on fighting Witter. He basically went from untested prospect to titleholder. They'll probably put him in with guys like Harris, N'dou, and Branco for a while now. Basically, anyone who is on their way out. The only way he'd fight someone good is if there's some serious money behind it.

Although, I could be wrong and he doesn't care who he fights.

Good thing for Harris, Bradley can't punch. He could make it very interesting. I give Viv a decent shot to pull the upset here.

Good thing for Bradley - Harris simply isn't very good. And it looks like Brad takes a decent shot.

More like good thing for Bradley, Harris is over the hill. I'm no Viv fan at all, but the Harris of about 4 years ago would probably handle Bradley. Thats not to say Viv was ever anything great, but Bradley is really nothing special.

But Harris is coming off the KO loss to Witter, by time he fights Bradley he'll have been inactive for over a year, and even prior to losing to Witter he was showing signs of decline.

Adding all that up, I think Bradley is a very safe pick.

I thought the same thing before the witter fight, and although witter is host to ingle's "retard style" and just not very good, Bradley DID undoubtedly look like a very solid fighter in dismantling witter.

Personally I thought he looked like a better fighter than Harris ever was.

Harris' LENGTH & POWER can Potentially Pose Problems for Bradley...Bradley SHOULD B Favored, but he's No Guarantee to Win...

    It's a 65-35 Type of Fight, N Bradley's Favor...

Harris never really regained the same form he had prior to losing to Maussa.

When he beat Hurtado, Mbaye, and Urkal, he was a MUCH better fighter than the version that lost to Witter.

Idk what happened to him, but he burnt out very quickly.

Does that mean in his brief prime could he have beaten Tszyu, Mayweather, Judah, Cotto, and Hatton? No, I doubt it. But he'd have beaten Bradley.

Did you see his loss to Witter brother REED? Viv looked pretty slow, and old in there. Part of it had to do with Witter's speed, but not all of it.

Shit REED, you seem to have been away for ages.

X - what you say may well be true, but it's hard for me to see, because I simply never really rated harris. I wasn't even overly surprised when Maussa took him out, I was just pissing myself laughing, and a little shocked at Maussa's fatality that somehow went unnnoticed by the ref :mj:

I haven't talked to Viv in a while, but last I heard this fight was nothing more than a rumor. He's gotta be close to desperate to want a fight like this because I can't imagine it paying very much, and killing himself to keep making 140 is only going to bring him that much closer to retirement.
