I don't tink Cotto is going to "walk through him" he has a hell of a chin!

but.. Cotto is just So So So much faster.. and I think he'll dominate and eventually break Tony down and stop him. Tony's chin will allow him to take a prolonged beating

EL Nuevo Dia published an interview with Cotto today. To the question if Margarito will be the biggest challenge he has faced, Cotto, with his usual calm answered, "Margarito is just another opponent I'll have to face and beat. To me this fight is the same as the fights with Judah and Mosley. My job is to train hard, be in the best condition possible and get in the ring to win." Cotto also hinted that he is not planning to go toe-to-toe when the fight starts. "Through the years I have demostrated that not only I am a puncher, but that I can move, I can box, that I am a complete boxer. And that is the kind of fighter that people like to watch. In this fight I'll do everything I need to do to win."

Kenny Bayless will be the referee. Dave Moretti, Jerry Roth & Glen Hamada will be the judges.

Ok guys here is the latest news. Cotto is currently @150.5 and is leaving Puerto Rico this Sunday. He looks in great physical condition! I haven't seen Cotto look like this before.

They actually do a pretty good job of covering boxing on the the dot com...and often have front page coverage of big fights (with several writers, not just Rafael).

It's really just the tv (Sportcenter and ESPNEWS) where it doesn't much attentin.

This is why we need big fights during the summer in the middle of baseball season. There is nothing else on and boxing can get the coverage it deserves. When college and pro football is on and the college and pro basketball seasons, you would find this as a one line headline on the right bar of ESPN. Maybe the top right bar feature column. The hype to the fight would have been about 10% of what it got.

Tonight it's on the front page.
