if i recall correctly gamboa won about 8 or 9 rounds against jimenez. someone like rocky juarez would've looked awful against jimenez and barely get by.
That was a hell of a KO, but Matchup Analyser (Bigjohn) is right, Gamboa has to protect himself better, even at the detriment of his offense, because he'll get knocked out if he continues to step up while maintaining this style.
BTW some of these slowed down replays truly dont do the KO justice. Only when I saw the replay in real time did I see how sick a right hand that was. How would Gamboa fare VS Chris John, Luevano, or perhaps Larios or Linares?
