Look at Fedor's opponents Hunt, Choi, and Sylvia over the past year and a half. All these guys were much bigger than he was. Choi was more than a foot and 150lbs heavier, Sylvia was 8" and 30lbs heavier and Hunt was 50lbs heavier.
Then look at Anderson against little Leben, smaller Franklin, Marquardt, and Henderson. All those fights, Anderson was the bigger man and considerably taller.
So how is it that Fedor as a heavyweight won solely because of his size while Anderson won based on his skills and talent? When you factor in that Fedor was fighting much bigger guys than himself while Anderson was fighting guys his own size or smaller?

I have that on videotape still. That sh*t was pretty fun. Even Bad News Allen had a couple fights although he was old as hell. Not sure how much of it was scripted. They fought without gloves but closed fists weren't allowed, only open hand strikes.

 

I had a black box back then, so I saw all of them. They were definitely works, it's been well reported. But for Pro Wrestling, it was pretty cool.
