gomez is turtle to delahoya's vincent chase. he owes his entire lifestyle to the guy, what else would he say?

delahoya is simply going back to his roots, of choosing smaller foes.

for the most part they are all legitimate opponents - Mosley, Sturm, Hopkins, Mayweather are all pretty excellent opponents who were relevant to their division. Mayorga was a legitimate contender despite how wild and unpolished he is as a fighter.

Pacquiao is not a legitimate opponent for a welterweight fighter. period. that's why none of oscar's fights/opponents since vargas have anything to do with mann pacquiao.

whatever. i'm conceding that a pacquiao fight is B.S. - and so was the Forbes fight BTW. But let's not pretend ODH didn't fight a lot of good fighters. Just not lately. Not ones his own size anyways.

Oscar's fear of Cotto is now more apparent than ever.

 Terrible...Manny Pacquiao should NOT even try to get close to the Oscarweight...just come in to the fight in his normal weight...hes going to get kotfo..so just train your ass off don't put on any muscle mass that will make it more difficult for him to make 135 after this fight...

    Yup...

He could call top rank...tell 'em he will fight Cotto in December..just put him in the ring in Late September/October..vs. a half decent Welter...make him look good.......set up DLH vs. Cotto in December...

but DLH is tooooo much of a bitch now a days..he has to be certain that Cotto is ruined...

As unfortunate as it is DLH has and always will only care about the publics perception and $, not what the true fans think.

[IMG]Awwww cheer up knippy, it's only a sport, and this is only a messageboard in the end. Margarito lost a fight recently aswell and now he's on top of the world, because despite the loss, he remains in the mix, and Cotto does too, and I know it's alot worse to lose by KO than it is to lose on points, but when you take all this stuff lightly to heart, both outcomes can be fun. If I were Cotto I would target Paul Williams, a victory over "Margarito's daddy" will put him back near the top of the mountain, in such a talented division a reshuffle of victories amongst the best, would not be suprising.

Dela receives a lot of hate because he is a success out of the ring and the same haters will be asking for donations for the Chico fund

hopefully Pacquiao doesn't make the mistake other fighter have made...trying to bulk up for one fight....just to come back down to their normal weight the next fight....

There is no way he is going to beat DLH...yes train his ass off..but know that he is going to get blasted...

It's the truth, the reality is if a boxer fights within the rules the way Cotto does, he'll lose some, if he fights quality competition, nearly all fighters, and all great fighters will lose every now and then... so stop sulking and stop 'laying low'... knip :nono: ...

I don't think Arum wants Williams in the ring with any of his fighters below Pavlik.

Arum will now play it safe with all his 147 pounders....Arum is probably hoping for Judah to win this weekend so he can match him vs. Margarito...other than a fight vs. DLH/Mayweather or rematching.. Margartito/Cotto don't really have many big $$ options...Margarito has momentum now putting him in the ring vs. Williams next risky an L...and its done..

Margarito vs. the winner of Mosley/Mayorga should be good....fuck he could fight the loser(mayorga) and taht would be a bunch of fun...

Yep, probably,.. but hopefully Margarito will insist, as he should be eager to reverse that loss,..Unfortunately, now that he's ontop of sugar mountain, I have a feeling this may be the end of the line for certain Margarito fans who used to love the fact that he'd fight anyone, and wasn't protected in any way,..his style is awesome, but if he uses it to beat up scrubs oppurtunistically then I dont want to watch that, I'll leap off the bandwagon,... I'll never emulate a sickening Fraud-groupie,..

Racist. I thought midget fighters were kings of the universe, so why should Pacquioa have any trouble at all with him?.. :crafty:
