Because the judges gave him the Mullings decision and the Mosley fight ended too quickly.

 

I cannot think of a bigger fraud in Boxing than Abraham. He is one of the worst champions in history. I laugh that people think Pavlik should fight this guy. Pavlik will stop this fraud 11 out of 10 times.

I actually think Marquez's last fight was his best. I doubt he beats Abraham though. Marquez is a decent fighter, but he is a bit smaller and he has no pop.

On the bright side, HBO might have a triple header that night...though it's best not to ask about the actual quality of the fights.

 

I admit in a way its kinda tempting. I HATE Raul Marquez, and watching Abraham splatter him over the canvas would be a treat.

They are all co-champions then. WTF is up with the Berto venom. He hasn't fought anybody yet, but he looks pretty good. I understand his chin is not so good but too early to call him a fraud, methinks.

As for Abraham, he's a threat to Pavlik because if nothing else, he can PUNCH! Kelly aint Hagler in the chin department, so Abraham is a live underdog. But that doesnt mean I'd pick him.

BUT, I give Abraham a better chance than old man Hopkins has.

 

Marquez is tough and is somewhat of a known "name".

The reason this fight is being made is so they can have some sound bytes.

He fought for a vacated title against a very limited contender, and gets Stevie Forbes as his first defense.

Whatever. Edison Miranda is not a world class fighter. Arthur Abraham lost to him the first time!! People forget that Miranda stopped him and only in Germany is a stopped fighter, who quit, in English and German, told to fight on. It was tko for Miranda. The headbut didn't bust that bum's jaw, a right hand did. Abraham is complete shit. He also got gidt decisions over Howard Eastman and Kofi Jantuah.

Abraham is terrible. Keep in Mind his best win is over Edison Mierda and he need two tries to get it right.

X, Pavlik's chin is average, but Abraham is not a puncher. He just isn't. He is a German hype job who is at best a f class world class fighter. Pavlik might kill him. In Germany, he'd have to.

Serously, I like Pavlik a lot, but his resume is hardly sparkling like a diamond either, is it?

 

This is one of the worst comebacks I have ever had the displeasure of reading. Pavlik ended Miranda's career after Miranda STOPPED Abraham.Not only is JT better than anyone than Abraham has fought he destroyed the man who stopped Abraham and it took AA two times to actually beat.

No, Taylor. Abraham has not fought anyone as good as Taylor. Pavlik does not have a great level of opp and I am a huge fan of his but I do't think he is very good either. He won't need to be good against Abraham. Pavlikis decent and that is more than Arthur Abraham has fought. As average as you think Pavlik is, he would end Abraham's life with ease.

 

Personnally, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Abraham knock Pavlik out. In fact, I think I'd pick him, just a gut feeling though.

 

You need to go to the doctor. Stomach cancer is a serious illness so is a brain tumor. Either way, if that is a serious opinion you might need help. We'd hate to lose you here.


I will put this way. If they ever fought, I would IP ban myself for life if Pavlik lost. Yeah, I know. Go Abraham!!!!
