    In there primes or now.

I don't think I ever thought about this fight. I actually think Margarito would stop Forrest now or then. Forrest may have won 10 rounds against Baldomir but he has trouble with people who can take his shots.

    What say you.

To me, Margarito wins now and then.

forrest is pretty tall and he punches straight, and as mosley (whos chin is rock solid) can attest his uppercut can be vicious

could be a good contrast of styles fight as long as forrest doesnt hold alot

At this point obviously Tony would win.

Prime Forrest vs today's Margarito... I'll take Vern. Margarito doesnt really bring the crazy unpredictability, and quickness that Mayorga had, which gave Forrest hell. Plus Tony is a slow starter, which would've allowed a prime Forrest to set up his jab. In height Forrest is liken'd to Cintron, only Vern was a much better boxer than Kerm, and not a mental midget.

I think Forrest on his BEST day(the first Mosley fight) beats Tony by UD. That Vernon Forrest would've been a hellacious matchup for the vast majority of welterweights in history, and I dont even like Forrest.

I do like Forrest but I think he is a mental midget. He folded against Mayorga and Baldomir. Baldomir just didn't have the tools to finish him off.

WTF? Forrest beat Bumlomir like a red headed step child for 12 rounds, how is that folding?

He got hurt in a couple of rounds. I agree he beat the shit out of Baldomir, but he got stunned and was in big trouble. I saw a weakness in Forrest even in a dominating victory. He was running and hurt. It made me think that any sort of relentless fighter who had some power would beat Forrest. I think Forrest was pretty good as well. I just think that is his cryptonite. Obviously, Baldomir was relentless but Malagnaggi fisted. I think a relentless power with some pop will always give VF problems.

I agree that Margarito beats Forrest. Forrest just doesnt deal with pressure well. Sure Mayorga was unorthodox, but he also got a a gift decision against Quartey whos pretty orthodox himself. I thought Quartey dominated him.

Margarito wins a decision I think. Forrest does know how to clinch and buy time when hes hurt which is why I think it goes to the cards.
