    It's on Showtime 2 tonight, 9:30PM ET.

Showtime usually replays the hell out of boxing broadcasts, be it regular Sho, Sho2, ShoToo, ShoExtreme... they even throw random telecasts no matter how far after the fact. I can't tell you how many times I've accidentally caught pieces of JMM-Jandaeng and RM-Mubaza II

Did you see the fight Jake? I'm surprised none has talked about it, I heard it was a good fight.

It was good, but one where I can easily see how it gets lost in the shuffle. Aside from Ishe letting his hands go for a change, the only thing... well, I'll let you watch and decide for yourself. But yeah, it was a decent fight.

Showtime used to be a son of a bitch when it came to replays (only showing some fights live and never again or not showing ppv replays) in the 90's. Now, it's far easier to catch something you missed. I wish they'd spend some of their nightly rebroadcasts on the older stuff. They had some excellent fighters/Czyz (great)/Pacheco (painful) and always provided an interesting and much needed contrast to HBO.

I agree, though I have to say there a lot more recent fights (the last decade or so) from both HBO and Showtime airing on ESPN2/Classic these days.

With their current shows, they usually have three airing (East, West, and maybe Too) on the same night of the fights, then again on Monday night on one of their extra channels, and then On Demand usually on Monday or Tuesday.

Pacheco was pathetic, he was like Big George without the humor.

i saw wolak fight some scrub in new york a few months ago. he was quite mediocre despite winning.

ishe is just not very good. he's more of a step up opponent for prospects than a gate keeper.

Ishe would be alot better if he just let his fuckin hands go more. He definitely woulda beaten Joel Julio if he had done that.

Ishe says he wants Angulo next. El Perro is a helluva lot better than Wolak.

That would be a good fight.

Supposedly Shaw is working on Angulo-Tsurkan for October.

I'm not sold on Angulo yet, but yeah he's certainly better than Wolak.

For what it's worth, I thought Ishe eked out the Julio fight. It was damn close (though not terribly entertaining) and could've went either way. agREED that Ishe made it a lot harder on himself than should've been the case, but he at least learned his lesson for one night w/ this performance.

As far as Wolak, it was my first time seeing him fight. His name stuck out only because I recall Zach once doing a nice piece on him. Zach's work is always top notch, but I can't say Wolak was/is anywhere near that level. Maybe it was an off-night, but his level of opp going in (barely Broadway Boxing worthy) suggests otherwise.

If I'm not mistaken, Shaw and Ishe have history (though who doesn't, with either one of them for matter) and I don't see Gary so willingly giving him a payday like that, even in a very winnable fight for his own guy.

I've seen a bunch of Wolak's fights. He's a guy that willingly admits that he should be at 147 and maybe even 140. He really should be down there. I thought Ishe would have blown past him easily, but from my seat (at a bar :p ), he was actually able to catch Ishe with some nice punches, force him backwards, and not look like a fumbling idiot like I thought he would look. Even though he lost against a guy who isn't great by any means, I think it was a good showing for Wolak.

He's not a champ, but he's no chump either.

    ishe should've could've would've...

let's face it. he has some athleticism and defense, but he's just not a good offensive fighter. he'll revert back to his shell mode once he fights another guy who's half decent and aggressive.
