whoa whoa whoa... without showing telemundo, this schedule is far from complete. Last olympics, telemundo showed repeats in Spanish, but they also showed lots of unique stuff. No reason to think they won't come through again, is there?

Good for Russell to be out of Olympics. He woulda get brutalized by Tajiki champion (that is, if he somehow managed to slip past the Turkmeni champion first)
Slow day at work. I'm going to put the schedule into a calendar and make it available to anyone that needs it. My DVR is going to be hard at work.
It SUCKS to Get THIS CLOSE, then Fall Short... CRUSHING Blow, but Not Surprising...Russell Walks Around @ 130 & it's All MUSCLE... Dude Wore 1 of those Trash Bag Looking Sweatsuits for an ENTIRE DAY & Didn't Produce a DROP of Sweat... & MINUTES after an IV, he was 6 lbs Heavier... REED:doh:
Oh god. That's terrible. I'm actually going to convert it to lbs. I need the calendar for myself, but i figure it would help others. I only plan on recording the live broadcasts. That way, I can watch right when I wake up or right after work.
OK. I have created the calendar. It's very basic and I used the schedule that Jake posted. Anyone who wants it, PM me your email address and I'll send it to you. ALL TIMES ARE EASTERN, SO PLEASE UPDATE IT IF YOU'RE IN ANOTHER TIMEZONE!!! Few things to note though for those of you recording... The Telemundo delayed broadcasts are listed in big chunks amongst other sports. For example, on the first day of fights, boxing will be mixed in with other events in a time period that extends from 7:30 AM - 2:00 PM. This happens on a lower scale with CNBC as well. According to the schedule, starting on the 17th, it looks like nothing will be broadcast live except for half of the semi finals on the 22nd. For the Semi-Finals on the 22nd, CNBC is airing live fights starting midnight and then other fights on a delayed broadcast starting at 5:00 PM. If you're like me and you want to watch/record everything, remember that both broadcasts that day are showing different fights, not a live showing and then a delayed showing of those same fights like they do on other days. Finals will be on NBC....NICE!
It might be. I am an old guy and can't forget 76 and 84 so it's still difficult to watch mediocre squads assembled.
Yeah, well, I wasn't alive in 76 and was one month old in 84, so I've NEVER seen a good squad assembled.
wow.. this guy Gary Russell jr and Rufa or something like that are supposed to be ones to watch! rufu or whatever his name is.. they call him "the blur" is supposed to be in-humannly fast
We'll See how it Shakes Out, but REED Thinks we've STILL Got 3-4 CHANCES for Medals... Rau'Shee Warren's N his 2nd Olympics, so he's EXPECTED to Medal...Luis Yanez Received a Pretty FAVORABLE Draw, so his Road is All But CLEAR til the Medal Rounds...He's STILL Gotta Fight the Fights, but REED would B SHOCKED if Yanez didn't @ Least MEDAL (& Not just Cause REED is BIASED, Either:cheer:)... If he can MAINTAIN his Weight, Demetrius Andrade SHOULD Medal...He SHOULD have Won GOLD @ the Pan-Am's...6'2 Southpaw @ 152lbs... The LOSS of Russell will Certainly HURT, but Yanez, Warren & Andrade SHOULD Bring Something Home, Other than their Own Asses... Javier Molina has a Style that's FAVORABLE to Olympic Style Boxing & Deontay Wilder is a WILD CARD @ 201...Dude is 6'7, so who Knows???... REED'll Go On Record & Predict 3 Medals of Some Sort FOR SURE (Perhaps even 1 or 2 GOLD!)...& Possibly 1 More from the Darkhorses... REED:mj:
Ali can punch. I don't know what happened to him at that tourney where he lost, but he's got some pop in his punches, and he's fast. I'm sticking with my boy from New Yawk.
REED was BORN N '71...He has VAGUE Memories of Sugar Ray from '76, but that's about It... REED was ALL OVER the '84 Squad Though...& REED Followed Most of the '80 Boycott Team During their Pro Careers (Curry, Bumphus, Taylor, Sandoval, ect)...Since Then, REED's Followed Every Class, w/VARYING Degrees of Interest... '76 & '84 were DEFINITELY "The Good Ol' Days"... REED:mj:
Do those who've followed the international boxing scene have any names they think are the best pro prospects (not necessarily gold medal favorites)?
