Maia wins by RNC is Rd 3. Good fight. Maia's got some work to do, but he looks to be a legit prospect. Decent effort by MacDonald. TFK
Round 2 to Florian. Huerta just can't get off. Florian made Huerta look stupid with that Karate Kid leg sweep. TFK
Florian looked good the 1st half of round 3, then got cautious and was on his bike, then finished strong. Huerta looked like an ass showboating in a fight he was clearly losing. I give it to Florian 30-27. TFK
Wow, these guys are in fucken shape. Florian seems to have complete control though. He's letting Huerta come to him and has an answer for anything thrown at him. When Florian goes on the attack Huerta is lost.
Huerta has been bitching about his contract, demanding more money then what BJ Penn is making. This will not help his negotiating leverage. TFK
TFK, can you hook me up with any of those UFC ring card girls? I would like to get together with them and talk about feelings and so on.
How many fights do they have before getting to the features? They keep hyping guys and then ... Joe Meaningless vs Frank Irrelevant :bangh:
I like that they show undercard fights when they have free time. It's beats when Boxing does 30 minutes of filler interviews and all that nonsense between fights. Nice win by Kongo, but he still sucks. TFK
Lesnar, with his 'bad standup' drops Herring with 1 punch, then takes him down with ease. Brock on top lay and praying for most of the round, but landed some good knees to the body. Herring is bleeding. R1 to Lesnar. TFK
Herring blocks the 1st takedown, but Lesnar gets how down with his 2nd try. Lesnar on top. Herrings eye is swollen and he can't do anything. Lesnar is being very cautious on top. Lesnar has Herring's back, but isn't doing much. Herring has done nothing this fight so far. Good knees on the ground to Heath's body. Herring makes it to his feet and has Brock against the cage, bit can't do anything. Both men look tired. Brock gets Heath's back to end the round, but he looks tired. Herring is beat up pretty bad. TFK
Brock lands a kcik to open the round. Brock has Heath against the cage and is landing knees before taking Heath down. Brock looks too tired to finish, and doesn't know how to sub, but Herring can't do anything. Brock landing more knees on the ground. Herring tries an armbar but Brock easily powers out. More knees to the body. Back to their feet but Lesnar takes him right back down. Herring is wishing Mark Coleman never hurt his knee right about now. More LNP from Brock as the fight ends. The bell rings and Brock laughs at Herring. Surprised Herring didn't take a shot at him. Lesnar 30-27. TFK
With proper training, brock could be champ one day. He just needs to get over the fear of getting caught in a submission. But that will come with more fights.
Brock has a ton of potential. He's got dynamite in his punches too. It's really up to him how far he can go. If he takes this seriously and keeps learning, he's gonna be hard to beat. To absolutely dominate Heath Herring in his 3rd professional fight? That says an awful lot. TFK
